I had the same thoughts!
Inserts have been being stolen from my papers for 4 months. 16 papers a week and some weeks only 3 have the correct full insert.
I use PayPal to pay for my coupons if they dont use paypal I dont buy from them
Per ebay's terms of service you can not sell coupons all the sites I have bought from on ebay have a disclaimer you are not buying the coupon just the paying for the time
When I worked for a newspaper on the night shift, the inserts were brought out onto the floor for us to put into the newspapers. We actually loaded stacks of inserts into a hopper on a long machine that did the work of putting it into the newspaper. Once the skids of inserts were logged in on the dock no further tracking was done of the inserts so it was easy to take huge stacks of them without anyone knowing. This could be a way for people to take large amounts of inserts for resale.

I get all my coupons for me an my family an friends i go on recyling night in my town an i go to all the candy stores an apt buildings when they throw them out on wednesday night an i get lots of coupons from all the newspapers an i share them with seniors , mothers with kids etc. An it takes hours to go look for coupons an i have been doing this for 30 years .

Without coupons there would be no clipping service. Like buying marijuana from a company that charges for growing it for you; they’re not charging for the weed, just the planting and growing it for you. Green thumb service!
Clipping Services..If they charge you different prices depending on the coupon then they charge you for the coupons not the service..Its just something the say to sell them..A service is usually a flat fee👍
I thought about using a clipping service but as you brought up how secure their Billings really and honestly at this point I'm trying to eliminate more plastic waste in my life so there aren't a lot of coupons I find them using anymore and most of them are readily available to print
I think people pick and choose which coupon rules they decide to abide by and which ones they decide to consider acceptable to not follow. I believe people should keep quiet about the topic and let others decide for themselves what they think is ethical or not ethical because I see a lot of hypocrisy among those who are outspoken about coupon fraud. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
