Wargameportal had a queue but it only lasted something like 15 seconds before I was able to make my purchase.
It's probably quite expensive for a low-quality box this time around.
Indomitus was really cheap at €155 before the discount. Leviathan had a lot of new stuff for the Tyranids (neuroryrant, screamerkiller, psycophage, barbgaunt, Flying Tyrwar, leapers) and also for the Space Marines (ballistus, infernus, new Terminators) for €190 before the discount.
The Armageddon box is rather weak for the Space Marines (there are no real new units because there are already Aggressors with heavy bolters) and everything is easy to build, so fewer unit options like character weapons, perhaps a special bolter for the Aggressors like the Melta version that didn't have multimelta, a shield for the veteran assault squad. The box loses value for me because the Easy-to-Build models were actually cheaper than the corresponding complete units, like dreadnoughts at €20 instead of €55 if I remember correctly, but without weapon options. Therefore, all calculations regarding the actual value of the box contents are distorted, and this time (for me) it's not worth it, not to mention the fact that the rulebook might be incomplete if it's the physical copy of the PDF file released on Monday that requires downloading extra sections on the app.
Even though their website hamsters and Grots died en mass, Wayland games came thru for me.

Got my 2 boxes (english) at 9:20 CEST 😃. Many webshops across the EU still has 50+ in stock (07.05. 06:00). I think in a year you can buy this set for 50%, gw made so many of them.
Now Kill Team on the other hand….
Will wait a few weeks, then just buy at a discounter.
Got a nice decent discount with Fenris. They ran out of the French version but not English, a little perk of living in Québec.
For those who don't know: the starting launch box is one of the only large discount box sets GW sells during an edition cycle. It's their primary on-boarding point for people to get into the hobby, and they'll sell-sell-sell that into the stratosphere to gauge growth in the IP.
If you get into 11th now, as someone whose experienced 40k since just 2020, DO NOT expect this level of availability with other large discount boxes. You will be pressured into FOMO purchases, which is a practice that long-time collectors strongly frown upon.
