The bamboo plates are second to none. I’ve got the cool plate, and I haven't put any glue on it whatsoever. I also have the smooth plate, same thing, no glue sucker, works. Plus, it’s double-sided, so I circle PLA, and on the other side, I circle PETG/ABS, as it could be an adhesion issue if you’re using the same side for different materials
It's basically a spyware device wrapped in a layer of enshittification. Bambulab never again! 🥴
Kinda surprised you didn’t mention the Bambu A2L. Yes, it’s not technically on sale at the moment but it is a great large format printer with the ability to add cutter/pen plotter for $65. So much nicer to have the ability to print objects up to 2x the size of what can be printed on the A1. Should have at least included in your purchase recommendations.
Went back to Microcenter yesterday and those awesome folks gave me a price protection credit back from the H2C combo I bought the week before. $250 US back. Now I can order the laser upgrade from Bambu during the sale
The Creator 5 Pro seems better value than the Creator 5.
The first time Bambu had an anniversary sale they pushed people to buy while the sale was on. They extended the sale a few weeks but eventually the prices never went back up, it was just an adjustment to counter the increased competition. Jus noticed the video actually mentions this.
One problem I see with any of these "sales" is that they have scratched out an extraordinary high price that hasn't been used in over 2 years. Sooo, their sale price saves you about $30.00USD !!
Hi new to the channel (first video) and only a month into 3d printing with my A1. Thanks for the great information. I was thinking about getting another plate but from what I've read aren't the cool plates aimed at the enclosed printers? Or you'd still recommend them for an A1 printing PLA and PETG? Thanks again
Lukas you have a fine channel I follow. However I think you should by now realize that your viewers are not all from the US 🤔 As a guy from Sweden, You know there is a fine place called Europe where bambulab have a store with prices lower than US, as we dont have the US tariffs imposed by the Orange Guy 😏
bambulabs can give away a printer for free and i still wont touch it. This company is a joke and should just learn to honor the opensource comunity. Hope people just stop buying from them.

Good timing as in the need for a 3rd H2 printer. Picked up H2D combo with HT and saved $330. Between this one and the last sale saved over a Grand. So about $30 off the HT and $300 off the H2D with AMS.
I would want a Snapmaker U1 but no money so maybe have to wait until next year.

Just finished the video thanks!! – still deciding to get either P1S or P2S the p1s has good discount i may as well get that – is there anything else youd reccomend to get – do i really need a frosted/spare plate for the printer and do i have to get another nozzle – thanks!!
