3/8" Icon split-beam torque wrench is a great deal, and that type of torque wrench is easy to use, but beware the range, especially with torque wrenches typically being less accurate near their extremes. A lot of specs (oil pan drain, etc) are in the 20s to mid-30s. An old-style clicker with the dial-in grip usually goes down to 10 ft-lbs and is going to give you more accuracy in the 20s and 30s. Have both.

Wow – some pretty decent coupons. That is only $10 more than the low PLS price of $200. LOL – love to see coupons on free giveaway ratchet straps. Some pretty good discounts on Icon too – that split beam torque wrench. Better price than the last PLS. What?!? I can't believe it. I think we will see a rush on them or people posting about price adjustments or crying because their store wouldn't give them one. And then 30% off the stubby combo wrenches – that will get people looking for an Icon fix might go for this too unless they have their sights set on sockets. But a decent dose of radioactivity. OK – 25% on a good extension cord. The Braun penlights are excellent though I prefer the 400 lumen rechargeable one on ITC deal. But these might make the stocking list for the adult kids. I bet those Pittsburgh long hose pliers are decent because there is no good hose plier. Just hope Mrs. Harbro gets a hold of them. LOL. I have never seen that Gordon Tactical Knife. Hmmm…. Might have to spend some money before the PLS.
Though I did get my one-drawer cart and a magnetic power strip today – slate gray of course. Waiting on other accessories until a 30% off weekend.

I bought the split beam torque wrench around 8 months ago for $99. I love it. Only negative thing I can say about it is that it only goes in 5 lbs. increments. It's perfect for torquing wheels after a tire rotation.
