I will never understand why people make a mess.
Thank you for all you do. I got kicked out of a dollar general the other day for pulling down one box from the sky self. I had put it back nice and neat but he yelled at me and told me to leave. Is that normal?

Fewer pennies, greater competition as the penny shoppers has grown, MMV, with much neater stores with more employees leaves less desire to penny shop in my district stores. When I finally figured out which stores were 50% and 70% off, which had penny food and which pennied later, they all carried less stock especially seasonal that left only slim pickings at 90% and pennies already pulled or sold-out before reaching a penny.
I still like to watch the videos for the just in case I might spot something.

I know that DG considers the date on their items to be expiration dates. In most cases, they are only best buy dates which is for the buyer to get peak quality. These items are rarely expiration dates, except maybe refrig items. I always hope cashiers do not notice if the date on them has passed as they are not expired and are fine for weeks, months and sometimes longer than the date on them. I know DG has their own interpretation of the dates but it really bothers me when food is thrown away, when so many famiies can really use it and there is nothing wrong with it. You can also google this information online. I would be more careful if the date just says use by date, but best if used by or best by (BB) dates are not expiration dates. I just wanted to put that info out there.
