I have a 30% on your next purchase of preference, I was trying to use it today on the physicians formula spend $10 get $7 ecb and buy 2 Venus razor/cartridge get $10 ecb. The cashier said I couldn't use it because I was getting ecb's back, can someone tell me if this is true?

I had a CVS CRT sent to my phone for 20 % off L Oreal Shampoo or Hair Care plus a CVS CRT for $2.00 off 7.00 shampoo…..then I had (2) $4.00 coupons off 2 L Oreal Shampoo….I also bought 4 Gliss shampoo with B1G1 coupons and 7.00 manufact. coupons on each 2 Gliss I bought giving me overage since they were 4.99 for 2 and 2 free…..So the 20 % CRT SPECIFIC to L Oreal Haircare did process first at the register along with the manufact. coupons…I asked about the $2.00 off 7 shampoo CRT and the cashier showed me on the register how it would NOT process for all the shampoos I purchased. I fought a little to have it pushed through showing her my 2/7.00 CVS CRT sent to my phone so she gave me the additional 6.00 off so I was lucky….my point being is that the 20% specific to the L' Oreal Shampoo did process even though the L Oreal was on sale and that processed first rather than the 2/7.00 CVS CRT shampoo. This was at my CVS store and because I shop so often the cashier was good about pushing the extra 6.00 through which others might not get..so there is one example of how the percent coupon Specific to a product did process for the specific product on sale! Happy Couponing and ty for sharing the percentage coupon video…..I still get hung up on them after 4 months of couponing…

with the percent off coupons, do you have to spend more than mentioned since the percent will come off at the end making it lower than mentioned amount? hope that makes sense…tia

I will add when using a CVS % off coupon, watch which ECBs you use to pay.
– Beauty, Pharmacy and forced ECBs are applied BEFORE the % off. (don't use these on this transaction)
– Other ECBs are applied AFTER the % off (go ahead and use these)

Thanks for the info. Hope you can help with the following 2 questions regarding the blanket % off (I will use 30%)
1) Item is regular price and you have a 30% AND a red box crt for 25% off skincare. Will you get both percents or only one?
2) If you only buy ONE item of a BOGO sale will you get the 30% off? (Rite aid works like this but not sure how CVS handle this)

Hi Toni, I'm new to couponing and I want to know something. I want to buy the Herbal Essence shampoo. It says buy $15 get $5 extrabucks. So, do I have to buy the $15 before taxes or after taxes. The shampoos are 2/$7.

are the % off crts at the redbox the same as email % offs? I'm wondering because I got a Loreal 30% advanced haircare crt; can i still use it even though it us on sale 2 for 8? Thank you in advance:)
