I'm going to talk about the dos and don'ts of printable couponing. I'm going to really focus on grocery coupons here. So do's, number one. Make sure you're going to a legitimate couponing website. There's a lot of websites out there that have coupons, but you want to make sure you're working with one that probably has coupon printing software. So that when you print those off you know that they're going to work, that they are from the original manufacturer, and stores are going to accept them. Now when you print them make sure you set your printer settings to black and white. There's no reason to waste ink when you're printing these off. And lastly, make sure you understand the store policies where you're going. Some of them won't accept these. Most do these days, but some will not accept any kind of online printable coupons.

Now on the don't side. Don't fall prey to the kinds of websites that might offer you to buy coupons. There's a lot of fraud out there, there's a lot of opportunities where people might be printing coupons and creating copies of them. Those aren't going to be accepted, so don't fall prey to those. You want to make sure that you're finding these coupons from legitimate sites. Also, there's a lot of websites out there that will literally post a picture of a coupon that you can print out. That's not a printable coupon from a grocery perspective. So you want to make sure you're going through their printers and you're not just having a copy of a coupon.

And lastly, don't copy them. You, yourself don't want to create copies or scans of these because they're ultimately not going to work. At the grocery store they're only going to redeem something that is unique and has an accurate, it's from an accurate, legitimate website. So just make sure you're following the rules there and you're going to save a lot of money. So there's just a few dos and don'ts on printable coupons.
