Cheapest glasses I could find on the internet! NON-PAID, honest customer review.
How I got my new glasses:
- Got my prescription for $80 at Costco. (be sure to ask for them to measure your "pupil distance.") Or if you already have it, good for you. You just saved $80.
- I then got on EyeBuyDirect, chose some sweet glasses, filled in the prescription info (might be confusing the first time around, but they save the info for your next order), and boom! A week later I had brand new glasses!
Hints:
- Get the anti-glare. It's worth the $6. (I regret not getting it on my first pair)
- When first searching, search for glasses by size. (e.g. large, medium, small) You'll weed out a lot of glasses that way.
- Get a few different pair. They're so cheap, I'm sure they'll break (mine haven't after a few months, but who am I kidding? These aren't $250 glasses... which I'd actually feel horrible breaking glasses that cost that much. But a $25 pair of glasses? No big deal! It just gives my an excuse to switch up my styles and get a fun new pair!) ;)
Before I was really unsure about buying glasses online. The pricing seemed like one of those scam "too good to be true" deals. But after a $100-150 quote from Walmart, I thought I'd give a $9 pair of glasses a try. They're awesome. Lightweight and delightfully hipstery. Needless to say I've been back to get a slightly more expensive (professional) pair... -granted it's still only $25.
I got the "Admire" glasses (they look like the "Clinton")and the plastic frame pair is called the "Milo."
