I'm late to this post however I can't help but wonder if you're just a THRIFTY person. There's getting a good deal here and there and then there's being THRIFTY…. Is that you? πŸ™‚

norma p says:

Love their jackets, tennis shoes, vitamins, chicken, salads, humus, breads, juice. Lots of good deals at Costco, not mentioning the gas prices. Love Costco.

Texadian Stitcher says:

We get cat litter when it's on sale, theres some frozen appetizers that we get, tubs of nuts, butter, cases of water, croissants, occasionally bread, occasionally frozen breaded chicken, ling ling potstickers when they're on sale, some spices, chocolate chips, canned tomatoes, occasionally cereal.

I've discovered the Worcestershire sauce bottles are too big for us, but the low sodium soy sauce jug is so convenient.

We dont get produce often since theres too much of it, same problem with bakery items. I tried the jar of minced garlic & found it hard to hold & the lid didnt like to open – even tried the olive oil trick on it. So walmarts jar of garlic is back in my fridge.

And we left Costco 2 hours ago & didnt buy anything lol. Freezer is full, pantry is full. We were looking at the duvets & felt we needed to look at more stores still.

Vilma Christine says:

We got our costco membership this year. It's great for organic items πŸ™‚

$139 for a deep freezer?! Wow that’s an incredible deal!!!!

A BETTER LIFE WITH FLYLADY KAT says:

I love my Costco deep freezer!!!! I love your tips on the pricing. Thanks!

ding hern says:

Wish we had costco, but thanks for taking us there.

Linda Armijo says:

Hola!!! I do Sam’s ! And like you I love it !!! Have you noticed that when you do the pick up ( order than pick up) they don’t always print out a receipt you can scan at Ibotta? Or Sam’s has a scan and go app. I asked for a printout today. And they said they couldn’t. πŸ€”. I know! Also the Walmart pick up doesn’t give you a scannable receipt. Any ideas ? Trying to get my money back on Ibotta! Hahah! Love you videos! Thanks!

Shannon Engelken says:

How do you freeze spinach? Do you just put the bag in the freezer or do you lay each leaf flat? Thanks so much!

Cheryl Fewell-Brown says:

Yes we love Costco. My husband is on a first name basis with even the demo people! Last year the manager at that time, who has since transferred back to the bay area, along with my husband put on a barbecue for our local police department. Costco, of course, donated the food. Since our business that my husband runs is only about 2 blocks from Costco, and he does buy some supplies from there, he frequently will walk the aisles to get away from work and look for those .97 items. He has found some good stuff for gifts. The thing about demo foods…..we have learned to discern whether they are one of those items that are only good as a bite, not a whole meal or serving. You know what I mean? However, those Angus burgers are good. My son-in-law was eating one the other day when I went by their house and it even smelled good! We haven't bought them for a while. We don't do that much impulse purchases….oh except when it came to those unicorn plush fleece sleeping bags for our granddaughters! We bought our chicken coop at Costco and the granddaughter's outside playhouse my DH put together. It has held up really well over the past 6-7 years. We bought it for the oldest granddaughter (10) and she still plays in it with her baby sister (4). We also bought a pretty cool standing sand/water play thing. Both love playing with that. Our dishwasher we bought about 14-15 years ago just died on Thanksgiving and the refrigerator we bought at the same time is our garage refrigerator. I bought some really cute leather sandals this year, 2 pairs. I also just bought printer ink and uniball pens (my favs)! My husband's gun safe, our old love seat (that we reclined in for a good 30 minutes before we decided to buy it), our Traeger smoker, our TV's (all 3 of them) and my cutting table in my sewing room are other things we have bought. The cutting table was a work bench thing with wheels but it was so gorgeous and I loved the drawers with an open wire shelf beneath that is perfect for fabric storage! Yeah I guess you could say we are Costco nuts. Our 3 grown daughters and their families are on our business account. We buy them their membership each year as a gift when we renew. Of course we use our Costco Citicard for everything and last year was our biggest ever rebate on the Citicard, over $700!! Year to date is $553.04 and we have a few more months before the fiscal year for the rebate ends. I pay it in full every month no matter what! We buy eggs, supplement our chickens (only one is laying, they are young), chicken food, cheese, the nonfat greek yogurt, avocados, lettuce, spinach, bell peppers, bread (we rarely buy bread), milk, cream, coffee (Starbucks French Roast), vitamins, supplements, prescription meds, etc. We do buy our personal care items there. Oh and my favorite hand lotion, Aveeno. When it is on coupon special, you cannot beat that price. I have about 4 of them around the house and one in my car. Zip lock bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets, dishwasher tabs, Dawn soap (coupons on all those), cakes when we need the. Let's put it this way, the things I do not buy there are nonfat ricotta, salad dressing and peanut butter. Well I buy Kirkland Peanut Butter for low carb peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, but if it is for eating, I prefer Smuckers, which I have to order from Walmart as apparently they stopped carrying it!

Marwa Takita says:

We buy eggs milk butter yogurt cheese dishwasher detergent breads these r the best

SeedyLee says:

GREAT tips! I didn't know about the * on signage. I do buy shampoo/conditioner at Costco on sale because I find I use less when it comes with a pump rather than squeezing like a madwoman with a regular bottle or not being able to get all the last bits out. But regular retail is definitely always on sale. I'll have to keep your deep freezer tip in mind when I am in the market for one next year. My best and biggest purchase thus far has been a high-quality memory foam mattress that ended up being the same price as Ikea. My favorite thing are the Charisma brand bedsheets, they're so soft!

Ronda Stern says:

Love Costco! Love your vdos!! Hugs from Texas!

Quiana Jenkins says:

In NY we have Costco and BJs. I always found myself shopping BJs due to the fact they are a lot cheaper. Like you said me and mom split the membership and also a lot of items. I have found now that my son is grown I don't spend nearly as much due to the fact I don't have to buy all the snacks. So my aunt had a Costco membership and I will ask her to get me one or two things from there. Cornish hens is a must and ground Turkey.

Traci Sanders says:

How do you split the membership when the other person doesn’t live in your home?

momof2 says:

I have a Costco membership thru an ex boyfriend lol. He said I can keep it. It works, because I get the Costco deals, and he gets the points.

Garden Bee Aunt TK says:

If you put a big block of cheese through your food processor to spread it, it freezes really well.
Big bag nuts will last longer in the freezer, yogurt, butter, coffee as well.😊

Angela K says:

That is good to know about the cent values and '*'! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

wendyrpeek says:

I love your channel so much. I have been buying EVERYTHING at Costco for years. LOVE IT! Even the gas. Β Off topic, but HOW do you get your teeth so white?!

thrifty-but-chic quinones says:

I like Costco clothes too

Inspired by Nikki says:

That makes so much sense to split the membership! I should do this with my friend Jackie because there are some things I like getting in bulk but it's usually once ore twice a year and then I'm good…..plus it would just be more fun to go together πŸ™‚

Jamie Lee says:

I love Ibotta!

K S says:

We go to Costco seldom, but we stock up! I get dish soap ( the massive 10 litre canister), greeting cards – combo pack of 24 cards for birthdays etc. It is like $15 for beautiful cards. Hemp hearts, diced garlic, spices, oils, olives, cereal, massive packs of oats, dried beans. All unbeatable prices compared to anywhere else even on sale πŸ™Œ

racquel carter says:

I have been to Costco with my Hubby and the kids we asked if we could just come in and look around to see what it was like and to compare the prices to Sam’s Club because we have a card from Sam’s Club that’s going to expire tomorrow….. Hubby and I are going to consider getting a Costco Care and not renew Sam’s Club because Costco had really good prices on a lot of things and they seem to carry a lot of Organic items and we live that 😁

John's Outdoor Adventures says:

Really good info….I wish we had a Costco. Thanks!
