Itโs the computer catching up! It takes a minute especially if you have a lot of coupons clipped. So if cashier doesnโt wait it can possibly miss coupons. I simply say โdid that take all my coupons off?โ Before I pay.
Dollar General is a great place to coupon but you must be on top of your game. If it doesn't turn out like you had pre figured out feel free to cancel transaction and restart.
This was always a useful idea for me. Because there are some stores where the coupons donโt scan or something. I grocery shop at meijer and they have amazing deals. I get out of there cheaper than I ever did at walmart. And sometimes they beat Aldi. I use the scan and shop app so I know what my total is and if something is on sale but isnโt scanning the sale price. Which happens a lot. I also take a picture of the item in question with the sale tag so they donโt have to have someone in that department go back and look.
Theyre not doing that at dollar general PERIOD .. specifically because the app is run by a third party…if you contact customer service they should help you and refund to a dg gift card or as a coupon sent ti your account

My dollars stores will not take anything off, and I always show them on my app.They say we have no control of what comes off.
