i got the 10% coupon once after installing the ebay app on my smartphone. But i had to call ebay to use the coupon b/c it didn't list the code. After using it, I never got the 10% off coupon. I might have gotten the ebay bucks promo but only if i use the bill me later. Most businesses want your money plus interest, hence they want everyone to use bill me later, and prey on the disorganized who pay late fees.

Great vid as always. Your lucky that you get the Ebay bucks and free shipping. In Canada they did away with the Ebay bucks and we never get free shipping (sucks to be us). If we buy from Apmex, an international shipping charge averages $38. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to my LCS I go!!!

Apparently I watched your videos in the wrong order my friend. I did get a $15 off coupon from eBay, but not a 10% off which would be much better. I haven't tried the Bill-Me-Later but I would consider it if the promotion was really good (not just $15 though). Great tips.

Regarding PayPal in general and Bill Me Later in particular I have some concerns. Instead of detailing my personal experience, I instead would recommend those considering Bill Me Later (aka BML) to have a look at the forum archives and draw their own conclusions.

It sounds like you've figured out how to navigate the various 'gotcha' scenarios for which I applaud you.
However this apparently has not been the experience of everyone using the BML service. Perhaps they didn't read the fine print and perform the requisite due diligence. That would not surprise me.
Thanks for all of the info you make available and I hope you understand this post is simply a 'heads up'. It's not uncommon for folks to get excited about bidding on a product and allow emotions to override commons sense.

What happened to your weight loss videos?
It's really hard to guess ebay's algorithms on how they'll target you for certain promotions. Sometimes they'll give you a certain percentage off BIN purchase, sometimes a specific dollar amount off, and sometimes double or triple ebay bucks earnings. Last week, I just got a $10 off coupon rather than 10% off. If you google it, a lot of people got quadrupal ebay bucks from purchases, and they try to guess how to trigger this promo, but the general conclusion is that it was totally random.

eBay should not let APMEX to sell their bullion on eBay IMO.
I get Ebay coupons infrequently, but they seem to exclude certain types of coins and bullion and auto parts. Sometimes they help, sometimes they're worthless, and sometimes the timing of them is all wrong eg I don't have the cash to spend/there's nothing I really need to buy. As for Ebay Bucks, I use them, try to take advantage of the triple Ebay Bucks rewards to get more Ebay Bucks down the line.
