I want to clarify something that Deal Guy said.. I have done this method a few times and not once they offer 10% bonus…Please explain how can average customer get that 10% bonus the right way and not ask the store manager to get involve…People on youtube would like to know…I am not the first person who has seen the banner for beating competitor price and 10% off. on HD stores… they never honored that as per the cashiers in HD in NYC. Won’t be shopping home depot any time soon from this point on….they are bought & paid for by China, not a friendly American made in America kind of store.
They don’t have rebate centre, at least not in 🇨🇦 .
when you shop at home depot make sure you don't give employees a hard time these ppl are overworked and underpaid! yes a lot of hard work, I know a couple ppl and friends that work in home depot can you believe such a multi millionaire company and all they pay these ppl i know is $11.00 an hr………..won't hire them full time to not pay benefits! McDonald's pay 15 an hr to flip burgers smdh they need to step up there game Target pay 15 an hr and walmart as well Lowe's 14 an hr and these assholes at HD 11 so please be kind to home epot employees and be thankful show appreciation since the company they work for never do.
It depends on the proximity of the competitor, and market share between the competitor and HD on whether a competitor's coupon will be accepted. Im a former HD manager, 12 years with the company.

Never shop through their website…customer service for .com is THE WORST. In store is MUCH better and the issue was finally resolved by the very friendly staff!
Recent subscriber…I don’t make a lot of money and what I do make has always gone to the loving in home care of my mom who had Alzheimer’s over the last 13 years. Now that she has just passed away, I am looking forward to fixing up my home for my husband and 13 year old son. Maybe even a few things for myself. Thank for all the neat tips. I am sure it takes a lot of work, so I want to tell you how much It is appreciated.
I never knew you could get a discount on damaged packaging. Half the merchandise packaging in the store is damaged!
Also, HD will honor 11% off sale when Menard’s has that promotion.
They don't match their own online prices. Especially if it's from another Home Depot.
I bought a can of “oops” paint for $9 and there was a $15 rebate attached to it. I sent the rebate in with the receipt (I always keep a copy) and they sent me the full $15 rebate with a store card. I couldn’t believe it. Essentially I got paid $6 to buy the oops paint! Love a deal like that!! Thanks for sharing so much info. Happy Fall!

I'm going to walk through HD and buy every 0.03 item so I can "save" money.
Wish I had known about the rebates 4 years ago. Bought stove,micro and dishwasher.
So what's to stop, say someone wanting a 10% discount from say, accidentally damaging a box?
Tip number 2 goes for Lowe's too. At our discretion though. I know I had customers come from a Depot about an hour away, so Lowe's would price match. However, I found out that day that the price match store must be in the same city. Sooo that sucked for that customer.
I work at a Home Depot and I’m not sure if it’s only mine, but we only price match with Lowes. And the item of course does have to be the exact one and you will need to bring in the ad, the internet ad works as well. Our return policy is also extremely good, as long as you have a receipt! You can always sign up to our Pro Rewards program for coupons sent to you spontaneously and to save your receipts‼️;the plants yes 1 year but only perennials and keep your receipt! And as always thank you for shopping at your Home Depot!! 🙂

#3 is bullshit! I tried to get them to match Amazon price on my DeWalt impact driver kit in January of 2018 (20 bucks cheaper than HD price)
They flat out refused!
I went to Lowe's and they agreed to match it
I get 90 day price protection.
If I find it lower I just buy it again and return it with the old receipt as you have 90 days to return it.
new clearance prices.
Damaged box and not damaged product discount is not true. I am an employee of HD. It is clearly stated in our training this policy.
