Also, you don’t need eggs to bake most sweets.

Even before my husband and I went vegan, we didn’t eat eggs on the regular. We do love sweets, though. Which made it a chore to finish off that carton of eggs once the birthday cake was baked.

There are so many alternatives! My favorite is chia seeds and water, though flax will work just as well. They add less flavor as compared to another popular alternative, a mashed banana.

Broken Anchor says:

sometimes buying precut food isn't a convenience. Some people are not physically able to use a knife. And good devices that actually help are hard to come by or are expensive.

Patricia Cano says:

Thanks for all the information 👍😄

DreamingFlurry says:

You have pre-cut veggies? Damned, you 'muricans are really the laziest people on earth 🙁 (seriously: I am a lazy fuck, but would never buy my veggies pre-prepared -.-)

Yuck! Re-usable diapers? What's next? Those old guy re-usable handkerchiefs? (Sure they may look stylish (at the Renaissance Fair!), but I'd rather dispose of snot ASAP instead of carrying it around in my pocket if I don't have to!)

I do my food shopping at Costco, ny bf and I started this in August and it has helped dramatically. We used to spend around 300$ a month at the grocery store on regular food. Now at Costco we spend under 200$ and our food last all month. (We buy Costco because we eat very healthy and DO NOT eat out.) so in this case it makes sense for us to buy bulk because we literally take our coffee, our breakfast, and our lunch from home. For dinner I come home and cook or he does. We barely have the urge to buy food off the street and now it’s hard for me to buy food outside when I know I can make it at home. Once u cut some things out u won’t go back just try it out. Now for normal ppl I wouldn’t say to shop at Costco because they might go out for lunch or whatever

a w says:

The baking mixes isn’t true because if you rarely bake then those mixes are literally 2$ for a box..well in my neighborhood. And you would already have eggs and milk to add in đŸ€·đŸœâ€â™€ïž

ayu odagiri says:

I will buy whatever I want from the grocery store, DUH!!!

suzuxie says:

Where is a better alternative to buy our kitchenware then?

Saiko Kujo says:

She says these costs are based on convenience. A lot of us WANT convenience and pay for it! NOW I do all my shopping on Walmart.com and Walmart grocery app. Free shipping if you spend over a certain amount, for most groceries. Cheap and delivered to my porch!

The app is where you buy the fresher stuff like milk, eggs, butter, bread, lettuce, etc. They bag it up and bring it to your car (free with $? purchase.) Sorry can't remember details. All of the prices are same or LESS than shopping there physically. I like that I can focus on (and remember!) what I need and not be so distracted by other stuff! That distraction makes me forget what I NEEDED! Also I don't BUY those distractions anymore! Or wait in line, etc. Best part is not carrying around cans! Soup, fruit/veg, drinks get so heavy! Should have posted this on main thread. I'll copy/paste it there.
