We will have 100's of penny items this week including ones Dollar General employees won't know about. This is a BIG penny list! Yay!

Please do not ask Dollar General employees about penny items or call the store. Penny items are discontinued or seasonal items that are supposed to be removed off the sales floor. When the items are not removed we can purchase them for a penny. (it says so in the DG handbook also on our website)
Please be kind and respectful to the Dollar General employees or anyone else shopping.
As penny shoppers we try to leave the store even neater than we found it.

Christa, every woman has a right to feel safe. I’m sorry 😐 a store manager who should be making you feel safe, chose to make you feel unsafe both inside and outside the store. Following you to your car when you asked him to leave you alone is stalker, creepy behavior.
That General Dollar obviously supports stalking behavior from there Managers which is extremely scary. Glad I have a lot of other choices for shopping.

Our DG Are really not very nice and rather dirty. I keep giving them a try because you ladies do so much work but after your situation I have officially given up. I don’t need to go with mean employees dirty stores now the $:$;t you have been put through! Sorry what you are going through. I wish you could do savings from different stores like target or Walmart.
When they pull these items they throw them in the dumpsters. If you don't mind dumpster diving you can get a ton of stuff for free. Legal in my state to do so, but check your state to be sure.

What about items that scan 0.00 in the app but rings up FP at the register even with it set to the correct store location?

💌I'm sorry this awful manager attack you in dg store. And I'm sorry to say that happens quiet often in other stores also. I used to go to dg often but the staff in this stores are kind hostile towards couponers, we only want to save money. Is not right . I had many things happen to me too. At Walgreens the manager told me because of couponers worker were loosing their jobs!!?. Keep you head up and thank you for all the mashups and Penny list😀😀😀

I scanned the Pepsi lip balm on Sunday, it was full price. They had their valentines stuff already packed up in a tote, and no Dawn refills.

When I've found penny items at mt local store, they refuse to sell them to me. It's happened 3 times. They say oh that's the wrong price or I'm sorry where did you find this item? We cant sell this. Ticked me off.

Some have already posted about the Herr's snacks. DG employees must watch YouTube or check Facebook for the penny list as well. The items that suppose to be a surprise penny are almost always gone from all the DGs I shop. Someone could have gotten there before me, but every time??? Happy penny shopping all!!
You tell us not to post about certain items so they don’t get pulled as if half the members in the group aren’t dg employees who are only in group so they can know what items to pull
