I had a similar experience related to coupons.. It seems.. when they refuse to accept a valid coupon, they keep (the coupon or the code) with them and keep all the discounted cash for themselves which they denied us. I once got 6 chocolate bars for the price of 3.. and when at checkout.. she didn't give me the discount and I didn't realise it until I got home.. and when I went back after a few days.. they were acting all lost and defensive as if they weren't aware of the deals.. but the chocolate bars had a sticker with the deal price on it.. and they cud not deny it then. (I carried the sticker and the bill to prove the difference in amount.) But the amount of emotions one has to go through is crazy.. just for chocolate or anything.. And then I realised that there were so many other people who were there with a similar situation.. only.. most didn't have the deal sticker.. so they cudnt get their money back.. which was really sad.. they all looked really upset and frustrated.

to me its the rudest thing that people get annoyed how rude and inconsiderate of them to get mad that a lot of times people HAVE to save money because they dont have a lot,trying to cut back, or POOR etc… with coupons you did nothing wrong and should never feel guilty for trying to save most of us are middle class or slightly poorer and really need it the people who dont,have enough to get by,rich,or try to tough it out and pretend like like they dont need them or could use them are a sad brunch and really makes me wonder where were the legal caretakers to teach them how i dont know think others have different lives then you and maybe are poor or trying to cut back on certain things and should not be ashamed.

Hey!! Thanks so much for the shout out! 🙂 Great haul! I totally understand your frustration. But I'm now over it. You get two types of people standing behind you. I always warn the person that I am price matching and using coupons. They either leave the line or say don't worry about it, I'm not in a rush. 😉 The ones who aren't in a rush usually ask me where I get my coupons. That's why I posted a video with that title lol. And I have taught cashiers a number of times that even if the coupon barcode is the same there is usually something really tiny on the bottom that says something like UID in the each have a different code showing I didn't photocopy them. It's a learning process and definitely canfield intimidating. It takes a bit of time. But so happy for you. And definitely definitely understand that some people can get caught up in buying things they don't need. But when you do get the things you want in need for cheap or free, doesn't it feel amazing!!? 🙂 Thanks!
Amazing deals! Good for you for using coupons; I think that's rude if the customers behind you in line give you passive aggressive body language… it's up to the employees to know how to handle coupons, and nothing to do with you, so don't feel guilty! 🙂 xo
ive had similar experience recently with the coupgon coupon app.. walked away from claiming coupons because of uninformed staff and impatient people behind me.. so annoying
