Thank you for your informative. Channel we live inAustralia on a very tight budget we always shop ALDIS.

Debbie Rossier says:

Don’t laugh – but we buy our popcorn in a bag or big bottle and we use something called a Whirly Pop that is used on the stove top. Yep – I was skeptical too, but it takes about the same amount of time to pop as putting in a microwave, and in my opinion takes better and has way less unpopped kernels. Use butter, salt or whatever seasoning you choose. Bonus – it makes way more than a bag of microwave popcorn. Just a little more labor intensive (but not much) but it works. On buying whole heads of lettuce – I recently learned from another YouTube channel that as soon as you get the head of lettuce home, take it out of that flimsy plastic bag from the grocery store and wrap it securely in aluminum foil and place in the crisper section of your refrigerator. It can last if you rewrap each time you use it for a very long time – I’ve had Romaine last up to two weeks – unheard of – it works!

Linda P says:

How do you get the tin taste out of canned chicken? I can always detect canned chicken, even when I am not there when anyone cooks with canned chicken. Thanks!

Ivybichon says:

Thank you for the potatoes swap in the soup. I’m lactose intolerant

Evelyn Saungikar says:

We like hummus a lot. A smallish container costs about $4 where we are. Made from dried chick peas, it costs about 50 cents!

Laguns1013 says:

I have a problem with buying and prepping food. Plus my oldest is really a picky eater. I like the idea of the popcorn swap. Probably less calories and more fiber too.

Linda Tsai says:

This is a stupid question but can you pre shred the block of cheese and just store it in a Ziploc or Tupperware? Or would it go bad faster?

tcctocrazy tc carson says:

I'm a unique individual, for #4 you could label the bags you use for each type of snacks. You can then reuse the bags. I break down Costco size bags of their Organic White Corn to 2 to 3 cup portions place them back in the large bag and then put it back in the freezer ❤😊

Jane Ulness says:

Did u know you can cook a “block” of frozen beef in the insta pot?

Christina Tareski says:

Hellman's mayo out west is called "Best Foods". Same stuff.

Robin Baich says:

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but canned broth doesn't taste as good as it used to. When I use it, I still have to add bouillon cubes just to make the broth more flavorful.

Truthseeker says:

I Really enjoyed this wonderful video, Maria!

Jen says:

I look at what I have at home and what meals I planned for the week and then look at coupon and ads and compare price and get the best deal we spent in March $282.66 for 2 with special diet needs and not including eating some lunches out.

Stacy Eisner says:

Large vanilla yogurt instead of vanilla ice cream. Tastes same but cheaper & healthier

Cindy Brock says:

YAY for popcorn! Our #1 snack favorite. We have a silicone microwave popper. It's awesome! Oh, and that's Best FOODS mayonnaise. It's sold on the West coast where as Hellman's is sold on the East Coast (or that's last I heard). Great video!

Melissa Martin says:

I made note of the egg swap. I never heard that and will definetly use it. Thank you.

muzikl96 says:

Best Choice?

If one has access Sams Club sells an 8 pack of Rotel for $7ish.

Great idea for the egg replacement. Thanks!

Trish2013 says:

You just reminded me to freeze my vegetables before they go bad! I also like to buy fruit on sale and then freeze it to use for smoothies. Really great tips I’ll have to try next time I go shopping.

AmandaJ BOAH says:

Great tips! Thanks for sharing and 100% agree with the popcorn! Even at 19 my youngest loves when I make popcorn, it was always a treat in the evening since my kids were little!
