Please please PLEASE if you shop at DG make SURE you are watching your receipts and maling sure they match the price on the shelves. They are NOTORIOUS for not updating shelf pricing and then charging you more at the cash register. There are companies that check to ensure stores are charging correctly and DG consistently fails those checks- very predatory for a company aimed at a lower-income market. Please protect yourselves during these tough times where companies are only looking out for their own best interests.

Love this video, if your willing and able to go to another store, Walmart sells 6 hot dogs for 1 dollar at most locations. And many other stores have sales. I usually use the Walmart app for budgeting before going and comparing prices with other stores or Smiths coupons. Hope this is helpful to anyone struggling.
