Thank you Luellen for the preview! I do need some Covergirl products that I use. Do you think it's better to wait till Sunday for these coupons, or would it be better this week to do the buy one, get one 50%, buy 2, get one free that they have going on now? I was planning on getting my face powder, mascara, and eye liner.
My allergies are already bothering 🤧. This weekend my local flea market opens for the season, April 2- November 1. Very exciting! I usually stop couponing after December 1 to March 31 stock up couponing and switch to yard sales and flea markets till November but I’ve decided to keep couponing for donations to help my local food bank and humane shelter.
Humane Shelters have diverse needs that couponing can help – paper towels/toilet paper, lotion, soaps, disinfectants, cleaning products, dish washing soap, laundry detergents, peanut butter, 30 gallon trash bags, ziplock bags, bleach, fabulouso, hot dogs, fleece blankets and of course – dog/puppy food, treats and toys.
Did you know it is Kitten Season? I didn’t know there was such a thing as Kitten Season. Stray and feral cats give birth about now and it overwhelms the system. Many kittens are abandoned or dumped. Kind volunteers feed them every 2hrs for the first week. They need massive amounts of Kleenex/tissues, Kitten milk and eventually kitten foods (can & dry). Mama cats need high nutrition food to feed their kittens. Then, 4 weeks after the birth of their kittens they can get pregnant again, ouch! That’s when major efforts toward TNR (trap, neuter release or adoption) happens. If any coupons or sales come your way, please consider donating to you local animal shelter.
