Another saving is going to the hairdressers every six weeks, instead of four weeks…

Anne Kennedy says:

Miscellaneous…(sp)

Lisa Ward says:

On days that we do have meat it is a choice between ground turkey, ground chicken, chicken thighs, roast turkey breast or salmon. I'm sure someone in this community has heard of the lowly salmon patty. I still make them but instead of frying them on the stove I bake them in a toaster convection oven!

Lisa Ward says:

We practice meatless mondays and Thursdays each week. We are vegetarian but also enjoy many vegan recipes!

Laura Kelsey says:

If you serve children the same foods that you eat and they see you enjoying them chances are they will enjoy most or all of the same foods that you do. The more foods you family eats the easier it is to serve whatever foods are lower priced at the time.

Laura Kelsey says:

I found that I was spending more money using coupons because I would use them for items that I didn't ordinarily buy. I still use them sometimes but only for items that I really need or want and I price compare. The first place I check is the on-sale shelves but again I buy it only if I need it and not because it's "on sale". My new motto is "I can save 100%"

Georganne Collett says:

do you still buy the cheap canned tomatoes even if not BPA-Free?…they're often 3 times the price but I'm not sure it's worth it?

rachelle e. says:

I hear that Starbucks employees get a free pound of coffee each week. Don't know the details but it might be worth it to work there part-time for you coffee drinkers out there. There are probably hundreds of other perks from workplaces that people don't even think about.

Loving Mom says:

I found out that Lido is related to Aldi and is less than Walmart:)

Natascha Lorez says:

In our country holiday related products don't go down before the holidays. they usually go up in price.

christine nightingale says:

England are mean with their coupons. Most places won't let you use a coupon if the product you want is already on offer. Pets at Home are guilty of that. I'm always envious of America and how they let you use coupons and getting free samples. Again England shops are mean with their samples.

Judy Aldrich says:

Tip #51 Wrap celery in foil. It will stay fresh and crisp for weeks. Tip #52 Use glass jars to store cucumbers into serving sizes and store in glass jars. I save glass jars like spaghettis jars for storing veggies and even strawberries. It extends the life of product.

Tracy Hilt says:

Is dry canning safe?

Barbara Trubenbach says:

I cleaned out all my cabinets, made a list on inventory, mark off each time I use. Keeps me from duplications. Throughout the week I will list what was used up then have a grocery list of what is really needed. One store has a Senior Day and give everyone over 65 a 10% off everything. Share shopping day with a friend or neighbor go together, saves gas. My refrigerator was set up a little too high turned it down, also did this with my AC, now set at 80 instead of 75. Eggs were $5.00 for 18 eggs, can bake with apple sauce or mayonnaise. Have a chocolate cake mix made with myo, was popular during WW!!, delicious, extra moist. When making salads, I mix mayo with water or salad dressing, this saves on mayo. Still trying to find cheaper ways to buy veggies, since it is a lot healthier it still is rather pricey. Canned/frozen are substitutes but sometimes not as tasty. Thank you for all your ideas, your great and doing a wonderful job!!

Chadwick Davis says:

Yes great tips but shopping is not as easy when your keto, no grains, fruits, below ground veggies nothing with corn, starches or sugars, only fresh green veggies and fresh meats, should like to see a show with keto concerns.

carolyn moody says:

I have both cash back apps..I'm 65 an my kids save all there rec's it's there way of helping me to get money for food an utilities

Kirsten Scholz says:

Hello from Germany :-)))…. number 6 is also good because when you start with the farest store your freezed stuff is already on the way home and not in the car at the beginning :-))

Linda Denneypu6 says:

I know u guys might not b much older than me but I love ya videos it's like sitting at the kitchen table with my mum and dad with a cuppa and getting all there good tips thank u both for all ya amazing videos

Linda Denneypu6 says:

My ex used to work at a local big backery and he said the only difference in the cheap and expensive bread was a slight difference in the grade of flour and fancier packaging all done in the same ovens on the same shelfs in factory

Melissa Wright says:

I do many of these times. I will do a Walmart pick up when I pick up medicine. Makes it easy. And sometimes I will go during me lunch hour if I don't need perishables. It makes it easy for me. I have too do a list and I will stick to it. I always ask for help. The coke-cola rep traked me down in a store because u needed more of something for a sale. At Walmart if you check the shelves andd you can find clearance items. Bought four bottles of Italian dressing. Got all 4 of them and have several recipes to use them and salads

Eng Lim says:

Thank you Larry and Hope for sharing your tips and advices. 👍👍👍💕💕💕

Nick says:

Hands down you are the best channel on Youtube! I haven't been the best with managing my money over my life but I am determined to change that. I recently found you and now I'm binge watching all your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to share what you have learned and what you do!

Annette Spain says:

My hubby hates shopping with me he said hed rather pull a tooth then go shopping with me. 🤣🤣🤣

Chaya Faith says:

We just scored a brand new crib by simply asking if they had it in the back or if another store had them. Sold out everywhere except one store that didn't even display the cribs and had multiple! Got it for 100 bucks!

Shikhastruth says:

I have to say this: don’t be too frugal on groceries. I’ve noticed by downsizing my grocery budget I don’t like my own cooking but when I make food at home like chipotle bowls and açaí bowls I get more excited about eating at home than eating out. Get food you like, frugal is fine but not too frugal.

Valerie Watkins says:

A lot of the grocery stores do not have butchers any longer they sell everything packaged I asked not too long ago to have a turkey breast cut in half because I’m just one person and they couldn’t do it because there were no butchers available this is like Weis and giant don’t know about other stores

Dan Stafford says:

WinCo post other store prices on their items… that's a very handy feature!
