Use to have upside. At first it worked good but then it just stopped working for me so I deleted it.
What am I missing? 35% of $75.00 is $26.25, right? Why are you getting $5 back?
Have you tried Gas Buddy? The downside is, its not accepted at some places like BJs or any Mobil station near me anyway. YOu'd have to weigh out the prices of gas at these places to where it is accepted and if its better to go with the app or not. It says on the website Save up to 25c per gallon and never pay full price, but bc I usually just go to BJs bc they have the cheapest price and its closest to me, I never looked into apps until I seen your video. So thanks for doing this video, I had no idea there were even gas apps out there….tempting to even enroll in a credit card from a gas station now, considering the cost of gas, lol! 😉

I am disabled and lost my liscense when I first started having grand mal seizures in 2006 yet we have a SUV abd my husbands work is 30 min away abd living in CA paying $$.5.50 and up to $6 at Chevron my husband sais is the worst so thank u as I will have him download the apps as he goes through gas so fast and if we got a Costco membership lines in CA are 6-8 hours to get gas which is a joke . Thank you for doing such a important video to post. My husband and I thank you for giving us ways to save money so I can move to finally get the help and surgeries I need to stay alive. Can you use more than one app like double them up
i have Dino App for Sinclair/stinker i get .30 off every time so i dont go to other stations unless i have shopping rewards exceeding .30 off
I can not get flux to work at all. I have tried everything! So sad
I'm lucky to live just 0.10 miles from Costco, so I usually go to fill up around 10 minutes after store closing. At that time I just drive straight to the pump because there's no line. The gas station closes 30 minutes after the store closing.

Yep. Biden cut the gas line. I use fuel perks. Uppromise was a joke. I use 51. But my gas station that works is 30 mins away. 51 i finally got 225.00 in the account.
I will try to gas one. Glad i watched today. It will get back a bit of cash. Yep cotsco is a mess. I have a friend that is a produce manager at costco.
Gas buddy is a great app I use it almost every time I fill up. I have the gas buddy card I use when buying gas and it automatically takes off the discount so I don’t have to get reimbursed. It’s similar to get upside but the discount is taken off when you use your gas buddy card up front.

Yep I’m in central CA and our gas is passing $6, so I’ll definitely be trying some of these apps. I find that Sinclair stations around here have the lowest prices (except Costco but unless you get there at 6am the gas lines are a 30 minute wait like you said lol). We’re supposed to be getting some Walmart gas stations soon so it’ll be interesting to see how those are priced.

Your tips are so helpful. I shop at Shaws and they offer a rewards program there. You can redeem for in store items or gas. You earn 1 reward for every hundred dollars spent or 10 cents off at the pumps. Liquor, milk, lottery, stamps and cigarettes do not count. They offer bonus rewards/points all the time like this week 300 points/ 3 rewards just for coming into the store and making a purchase. Last week if you spent $130 you got 10 extra rewards. $1.00 a gallon off at the pump. Points do expire after a couple months but mine never do. If I didn’t need gas I buy food. Also I have cashed out Ibotta cash for gift cards or just into my bank account to pay for my gas. We are paying $4.40 in our area and we’re paying $1.89 in January of 2021. The prices started rising at that point and haven’t stopped since. We have friends in California paying almost $8.00 a gallon. Insane!

Can I get cash back from checkout51 or get upside along with the gas station promotion cents off? I get $.05 off a gallon everyday at shell, $.03 at sheets, $.05 at Murphy's, and $.10 with easy pay at Circle K.
Been using checkout 51 for gas about 2 years now and they have never paid me anything. I scan my receipt within the time period. So I just gave up Very frustrating

I use Gas Buddy at get 4 cents off the top per gallon. I also use Frys and Safeway rewards at gas stations.
