I pay less for groceries than I did in 2020 and it does include to trips to Trader Joe’s which isn’t that cheap.A ton of what I buy isn’t name brand. Cheap fish really helped as I can easily a variety of fish for $2-3 for 1lb. Back in 2020, I dealt with price gouging and a bunch of items missing from the stores under Trump. Check your catalogues and look into stores like Lidl, Aldi, bargain grocery stores, select international grocery stores, etc.
Y'all took all the coupons that made sense to save sooo I just buy what's on sale
I scan my own groceries now. I’ve noticed a lot of times, when I go through the line where an employee does the scanning, I end up getting double charged for an item.
That adds up when you think you’re paying $5 for an item, & you really paid $10 bc they charged you twice.
