I had a $20 off coupon for PetSmart that expires tomorrow so I thought I would go and see if I could buy the pricey raw cat food that the cats love to eat. Not only did I get that, but I also got a whole bunch of cat toys that were being put in their dollar bin for only 71 cents each!

Your'e awesome your'e cats are lucky I have 3 cats but I feed 7 strays
Here in Quebec city, those toys are between 5 and 8$ a piece… I was about to buy the orange monster for my Cat last week, but when I saw that it was 5.99 $ I did not get it – because he has many toys and he does not like to play much, so I figure I would wait to see if I can get a sale: Mondou is a store for cat and dogs but every thing is over priced compare to pet store that you have 🙁 Anyway, you got really nice toys !
I have a diabetic cat with food allergies. I feed my cat Instinct Raw Rabbit. I'm having a problem getting it, because the only Petco that still stocks it is 1 hour away. I just did a deal with an independent pet store, to get three bags worth of medallions and have it delivered. I rely on Dr Lisa Pierson's web site, http://www.catinfo.org for information about appropriate nutrition for cats.
Gung Ho is wrong about whether Instinct Raw is appropriate for diabetic cats. It is a low carbohydrate food, according to the food chart in the catinfo site. I control my cat's diabetes through diet alone. I wish it had less fat, because the second feature I look for is the percentage of fat versus protein. Yes, I wish it didn't have the apples, but their overall contribution to this formula is pretty low. Remember that 95% of this formula is sourced from animals and only 5% of it is from something else. As I said before, my cat has food allergies and is fussy (Siamese are known for being fussy), so it's tough finding something my cat is happy eating and that is healthy. I feed raw because Instinct Raw is cheaper than Instinct canned.
My fussy feline really loves Nature's Variety Instinct Raw. Even though it's expensive, it's cheaper than having to give the cat medications to control her allergies plus the vet bills that goes along with this.
Raw food is the best. But if you really want to do it on a budget, then you'll have to buy a meat grinder and buy chicken thighs at Costo to grind and add supplements. I had to switch to this method when a feral little female cat of mine had diabetes and I wanted her to have an all meat diet. It's hard to find a commercial brand of cat food that doesn't have some sort of grains or carbs in it. Instinct raw has apples listed as an ingredient. That's sugar, so a no-go for a diabetic cat.

Those toys retail for 5 to 10 bucks here in Ontario. You got a really good deal.
WOW! Those are some really "Lucky Ferals", no question about it. $30 a week for the raw food alone is crazy love. Any kitty would be lucky to call call your house "home". What a great mama you are to your babies!

I can usually find frozen/fresh chicken for $1/lb, so why the $7.50/lb frozen cat food? Seems like better and cheaper cat food can be made at home. Just curious.

Yup, this def was a good vid. But the problem is I'll bet most, if not all, of the toys were 'made in China'. My PetSmart seems to only carry 'made in China' items.

I got the mouse that you hang on the door for my cars. They loved it! It lasted longer than I thought it would. I think it lasted 2 weeks. They still played with the mouse.
