Just got home from an in store purchase. No lines and less than 10 people in my store @ 7am on Saturday. However, by this time all candles ONLINE SOLD OUT! And my store said they will SELL OUT by noon they really didn’t have much left so I highly doubt there will be any candles at any stores left by Sunday lol.
I’m signed up for the snail mail & emails from BBW but still haven’t received any coupons in over a year. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with how often you shop there or how close you are to a store. I’m 2 miles from the BBW.
I’ve never liked how BBW candles don’t burn all the way down to the bottom but that’s how it’s always been. My candles tend to scent up the whole house with just 2 wicks lit and 1 room with 1 wick. That’s just my experience with the big candles. Plus lighting only 1 or 2 wicks at a time make the candles last sooooo much longer 🙂
Thank you for your video. This customer is dissatisfied to put it mildly. Finally at 5:55am on Candle Day my cart was filled with my 18 selected candles, I entered the discount code. I began the checkout process at precisely 6:00am and I got sorry blah blah blah technical error. I didn't even go to bed so I would be up for this sale. I was and still are beyond frustrated and pissed because I got the error message and the system was definitely slower than the norm. Finally I get through and get all the way through the Paypal process upon my return to Bath & Body Works there is no "Thank you for order" or final checkout button to press. I check my email and there is no email from BBW thanking me for my order. I'm tired and had to work so I'm frustrated. My cart is empty so I now have to go back to reselect candles for my cart. This was not easy because I kept getting the error message and the system is slow. I go through the ordering process selecting to pay with a credit card. When it was time to hit the final checkout button, AGAIN there was no "Thank you for order" or email confirming my order. Third time's a charm? As I restock my cart, the candles are selling out so I decide to just put any 18 candles in the cart that I could return in the future. Long story short, the order did not go through. I'm tired, frustrated, and beyond pissed because it just felt like the company should be doing more to avoid their customers having my experience. I determined for whatever reason it was not meant to be. With no sleep, I decided it was time for breakfast and grooming to prepare for my teleworking day. It is bad enough that the wax level in their candles decreases; but so has the throw for many of their scented candles. I am soooooo disappointed and stuck with a gift card sold to me for $180.48 by Honey so I could save $12.02 on a purchase that was not completed.
Funny I'm watching this video in am about to leave at 4:30 in the morning to go to Bath & Body Works with my daughter ..little does she know I already have it wrapped. Can't have enough twisted peppermint.😂🤣
Shop online very easy! I don't plan on going to store. Too crazy for me. There are only a few candles I want..and got a few for gifts 🎁 for Christmas! Hope mine come not broken!! And a few I had on line while checking out sold . The mermaid one, and another one.I love merry cookies,and there new peach one! Thanks for video and tips hun!

Ugh! Greetings from the West Coast….. by 7am PST the website was crashing! It took me 45 minutes to get my order to submit but at least everything remained in my cart. I look forward to this time of year and this sale. When I watched this video 2 days ago I knew you'd be right, Nicole. Ain't no one going in-store shopping, not me anyway. The West Coast Pack (Oregon, California, & Washington) for the pandemic have things shut down tight. The few stores that our open require you to stand in line before entering. They're counting people.Even Trader Joe's had a line. I'll be happy when we can smell the smells and feel the feels again but until then stay safe, wear your mask, and WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS. <3

I love the 3 wick Mainstays candles from WM they have stepped their game up .. you can buy 8 candles for the price of 1 BBW candle… I love their 3 wick candles….the make my hole house smell so good…. They burn even and burn all the way to the bottom… I can burn them for 3 hours every day and they last me weeks… I also like the better homes and gardens candles….they have also been better…. Woodwick is another favorite of mine…. trust me when I say this stick to the scents you love….BBW is way overrated…still like a few of their scents lol but I mostly shop for their candle holders and put my mainstays candles in them lol sorry not sorry 😂

I always watch your video every year for candle day! They are super helpful! I’m probably going to pass on candleday this year sadly. Like you said, at the end of the day it is just a candle and not worth the risk during a pandemic. Also the price has gone up again and I don’t think I will get as good a deal as in previous years. I’m glad you mentioned about the quality going down. I have been experiencing that too with my candles from last year. Not good throw and don’t burn all the way down. I still have some candles from 2018 (or maybe older?) that have done much better. Are there other brands that you suggest? Thanks for doing these videos every year😊

I prefer the 3 wick mainstay candles from Walmart for 3.33. Burns better and better throw than the BBW ones I've tried.
