Bella Thorne Reveals She NEVER Wanted to Be on Disney Channel

Bella Thorne opened up in a recent interview about never wanting to be on Disney channel and that being a Disney star actually made it harder for her to find work.
Bella is spilling the tea on everything from her Disney regrets to her dating experiences in Hollywood.
Bella Thorne has been busy booking roles left and right but she said it hasn’t always been that way. In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz, Bella opened up about her family’s struggles before she booked Shake It Up and her resentment toward Disney saying QUOTE - "Do you think that I wanted to be a Disney girl? Did you think I wanted to do that? We were about to live physically on the street if I didn't have that role. We were living off Stouffer's coupons, and that's all we had to eat every day. I didn't want to audition for Shake It Up! I literally said in my audition, 'I don't sing. I don't dance. I'm basically tone deaf, and I'm not funny. So I don't know why I'm here.' And everybody just started laughing. They all thought it was a joke.”
She went on to discuss how Disney made it difficult for her to find work after Shake It Up saying QUOT E - "It was really hard to get a job after the show. People didn't want to read me. They didn't want to see me because they were like, 'She's a Disney actress.’ So for me, it was like starting back at the bottom and working my way up all the way again." Although Bella is working pretty steadily now, she said her main source of income has come from social media. She explained that social media has literally been what has paid her bills in the past saying QUOTE - "I started out 18 with literally not a cent to my name. [I had] $200 in my bank account when I turned 18. Nothing else. I bought a house this year from social media work, only from social media work. My social media to me is how I pay my bills." Bella also opened up to ET recently about how she goes about dating in the spotlight telling ET QUOTE – “I think there are no rules. But I literally have no idea. I can't figure it out myself." Bella has been linked with Tyler Posey and Charlie Puth in the past but is currently single.
