Great video! Very resourceful too. You had a strong following but you stopped making videos. How come? Anyhow you definitely got my attention. You seem very talented. Good luck and thank you.

+anybodycancode Thank you. I have not built a free website for my friend yet, but I still think it is a good idea. I was going to just build a site for a fake bar restaurant or something, but then I thought why not build something useful.
Plus it will give me a chance to work with someone else, and design something that they want, like I said, as though they were a client. And hey, if he does not like it he can always have his money back. ;=)

+tim mellis I feel the same way, it is brutal sometimes. I could not figure out a project to do either. But I finally decided to just build a website about where I live, with phony news
stories, using some satire and humor. I´m not sure if any one else would find it humorous,
but that´s ok, it helps keep me interested. I also included a bunch of digital photos that I took myself, so that makes it feel unique to me.
Next I plan to build a website for a friend of mine that has a small business. I am going to do it for free, so it will be kind of like having a client, but without the pressure. Hang in there.

I'm finding it tough. I can't understand what programmers are talking about in terms of explaining how something works- like on stackoverflow. It's like: "what the hell are you people talking about?" It's been way harder than I thought it was going to be. I knew it would be tough but its been just brutal.

Just some sunshine to perk everybody up.

It is for sure way better if you have something you really want to do…. which I don't. I guess you could say it's been humbling.

Were you able to get hired at a company without any "Formal" training? Thinking of $12k bootcamp but that's A LOT of $ if I can get same results doing it myself. Thanks for the video!
