Canadian Couponing: Buy cereal get free cereal plus a $10 gift card!
General Mills on occasion offers a mail in rebate. Right now they have coupons on cereal for free cereal... and that is a double dip deal multiplier!
First you buy your cereal at a participating western canada Safeway on July 12 or 13th... then you cut off the upc and fill out the form and mail it at the first mail box you can see... in a couple months you will get back a $10 gc. (the coupon for free product comes in 2-3 weeks.)
The second thing you do is open up the box and take out the bag and get the code off the inside of the box and email it in for a free box of cereal! Without having any coupons this deal is fantastic. This by itself is a great starter deal for new couponers.... but get on it because this won't happen again until next year! I will race you to Safeway come friday morning! Nope they don't. I am sure the Canadian and the USA versions of the same company have different tax bases and right offs… accepting coupons from another tax base would throw off their numbers. It is too bad… You guys get lots of great coupons!
I wonder if USA coupons would work in Canada.
