this is my primary filament
Fun watching how the filament currently loaded on my printers was made. Mystery PLA is my go-to for basic printing. One time I got glow in the dark transition filament and didn't realize it. 3D printed a bust and was walking through my dark garage with it. Looked down and had a glowing head in my hand. Yikes!
The coupon code worked for me. Mystery batches on the way.
I just visited the shop last week. Their filament is great
Thankfully they seem to be getting better on the customer services front. I had a couple rolls of their petg and when i took a tour they gave me an off roll of their pla. The petg would not print, this was the first petg that I had any problems with, so I thought they probably had a different formulation or something. I had tried all sorts of settings, brand new nozzles (had it jam and cook off in the nozzle and pitted it really bad so no real way to recover) . They even wanted me to "season" the nozzle, this did not help, they thought it would be a fix all. Now keep in mind at that time I had 3 other brands of petg on a shelf and without changing anything the other brands would print perfectly. I sent a sample of it off to a friend and they too did not have much success. I maybe used 200 grams from each roll however thankfully they let me return what was left. The pla that I got was probably a spool from the beginning of a run since sizes were a bit over the place, the bit that was printing did print just fine. A couple weeks ago I picked up a roll of abs and that so far seems good, only reason for picking that up was this was the only abs I could grab locally to finish up a project.
In the end they did not try and be sleezy, and they allowed for a refund. I really wanted their filament to work at least the petg since the little bit that printed looked really cool. The support was not so great, at least now they seem to have people working for them now that actually know what is going on judging by who I had talked to at mrrf. They really want everyone to like their filament however not everything is sunshine and roses.
How long is the code expected to be valid? I can't place an order for a week or so.

Nice they sell 500g spools, I'll have to give them a try. I hate always having to buy 1kg when I only need a little for a project
