I did something like this. I bought some sample sized antacid packs for $1 each, and got back some "Catalina" store cash vouchers at $2 per box. I bought up the rest of their stock on the shelves, got back $70 for spending $35. The look on the cashier's face was priceless when she saw the printer spit them out.
I then drove to some other stores of the same name, rinsed and repeated. I legally ended up with around $150 in store cash that night. I even used some of the catalinas to buy the product, so I wasn't out any more green money.
I gave them to my Mom and brother who was living with her and told them how to use them to buy food and more of the antacid 4-packs, and still have more vouchers after shopping.
Shopping is fun, especially when you exploit loopholes.
