If you are still having problems, I would contact HP Customer Serivce for help on pairing your iPad to the printer. And make sure your iPad is current with all of it's software (iOS) updates.
Unfortunately, I believe iOS devices (iPhones, iPads) are only set-up to print to HP ePrint Wireless Printers.
I really like HP ePrint printers because you can print wirelessly to the printer from your iOS device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).
I also recommend them because their ink is less expensive than Lexmark.
