Aldi all the way…. $1.99 a gallon. I hate to buy milk any place else.

Ashley Struck says:

This video really threw me off. I am always getting milk coupons in my paper each Sunday. Maybe it is because I live in WI….

James Tarr says:

Question: I know photocopying is a no-no. However, I went to that milk site and there was just one coupon there. I know there are serial protections on some other sites to prevent fraud, however this coupon's serial number doesn't change. The exp date is like in Jan. 2014. Is this coupon was only meant to be used once in 2 or so months? If this is the case, it doesn't seem much of a deal if you can only use a 35 cent coupon on a choice of a multitude of milk products only a few times a year.

Nicole Henry says:

Aldi's is always great for milk prices!

EmmaHope88 says:

Hi,
I know it's a little late but I think they print them with several different computers. So they basically get two per computer. I don't live in the US, so I'm not entirely sure how it works but I've seen people do that.
Hope I could help at least a little bit.

Jaycbee024 says:

I am not sure what are you live in but in out local walmart the milk's expiration date is always about 2weeks from the date I am there
Every walmart is different

Jaycbee024 says:

I live in the dayton area and our local Aldi has been having milk on sale for only $1.89 versus our Walmart where they have now marked their milk to being $2.93 a gallon.

I was always nervous to freeze milk, thanks for the tip!

PiccioneR1 says:

I may beg to differ, but I highly recommend avoiding these departments at Walmart: Meat, seafood, produce, dairy, and bakery. As if the smell on the way to the dairy department isn't enough to make you vomit, the expiration dates on most of the items isn't any better either (ie. expires within 5 days). Save your money – in my neighborhood, King Soopers (Kroger family affiliate) and Safeway have much higher quality in all those mentioned above departments at a much better price.

Hii coupons ladys…I saw the colgate was free today at walmart, it was .94 cents and i found a $1 off coupon online at coupons.com. The website only allowed me to print twooooooooooooo…my question is how do you guys stock products in your basement and have so much of them? I could just print out two coupons so ONLY got 2 free colgates.

Mysticamusings says:

Costco also frequently sells 32 pks of diet coke for $7, most of the time it's $8 for 32 pk. Try getting that price for diet coke at grocery store.

Mysticamusings says:

I only shop at a grocery store if I have to, like last weekend when I forgot that Costco closes at 6:00 pm on the weekends. So I only picked up what was absolutely necessary at the grocery store, their prices and pretend sales (where the price is blatantly jacked up as they pretend you're saving money from their 'sale') were so obnoxious I couldn't wait to get out of there. Here's an example of Soda savings: 36 pk diet pepsi: $9 at Costco. 3 12 pks of diet pepsi: $12 at grocery. Insane.

Mysticamusings says:

A gallon of skim is about 2.80 at Costco; 2% is about $3, and whole is about 3.10. At the grocery a gallon of 2% is anywhere from 3.60-3.80 for the discount brand, over 4 for the 'good' brands. The amount of milk our house goes thru in a week makes it pay to have a Costco membership for the savings they offer on milk. Among other things, such as SODA. I don't know how grocery stores stay in business with their phony-baloney so-called 'sales' they have on soda, Costco is serious competition.

Karen McDaniel says:

It may be mentioned here already, but one of the ways I save is to buy it at the drug stores. I use my RR, UP rewards or Xtra care bucks for milk, OJ & cereal. If you also get it on sale, that helps. My drug stores here usually price the milk the same or cheaper than Walmart or the grocery stores.

Black Rabbit Vegan says:

How about store brand milk when its on sale? thats what i do, it cost 1.69-1.75 a gallon when its on sale.

Gracie F says:

If you don't have a coupon, a good place to buy Milk for cheap is Aldi 😉

teemee234 says:

I'm hoping someone can answer this question too! I never know.. if it is frozen two days before the 'best buy date', then, if it is thawed, is it only good for two days?

Brooklyngirl In The Caribbean says:

i know! horrible! They are even MORe expensive than us here. the excuse is the distance and the going over water, yadda yadda, but who they foolin?? The milk is LOCALLY produced! smh

Brooklyngirl In The Caribbean says:

sandbarry says:

Do you ladies live in Idaho?

sandbarry says:

I know. I visited Hawaii and their prices from 1 gal. is 5.00-10.00.

na74929 says:

@Brooklyngirl1969 WOW that's a high price how do you guys do it

Brooklyngirl In The Caribbean says:

WOW! $3.52 FOR A GALLON OF MILK! HOW CHEAP! WE PAY $6.00 A GALLON HERE IN THE CARIBBEAN!

getsmartnow2011 says:

Truth about name brand milk and store brand milk. I've heard ppl say it a million times, "I only buy the name brand milk, it tastes better". This kills me. My husband work at a Dairy (Dean Foods) and he said its all the same. The only thing they change is the lable and or jug. The milk still comes from the exact tank as the name brand. The "Taste better" part is seriously and completely all in their heads.
