I went to CVS and was trying to purchase the dawn dish detergent for ($4.99) and two febreze refills for ($4.99 each). I handed the cashier/manager a buy one get one free febreze coupon, only valued up to $3 off one of the $4.99 plug-ins (getting what I needed), one of the dawn mfc for $1.50 off and a $5 ECB. I was standing there with $10 dollars in my hand waiting to see my total. The register said $5.50 and the manager quickly voided it and then asked me for my number again. I inquired what was he doing and was told that I could only use the $1.50 on my card (app only q) or the $1.50 paper mfc. Mind you nothing beeped and the system did the calculations. I informed him that the $1.50 was a coupon offered by CVS for app only. He called himself checking to see what the coupon said on my account and that it was too a mfc. I was highly pissed because I have never seen someone void a transaction with no problems. I called corporate to leave a complaint. I left the merchandise there and went to one down the street. Of course, they were out of the dawn. I spoke to cashier briefly about my previous experience, and he knew exactly who I was referring to. Still feeling unsettled by this one, because he voided my transactions with out cause. Eventually, I was able to find what I wanted to buy with my money and coupons at a different store and spent the same exact amount from the previous voided transaction. Just ridiculous!
Went to do this deal after seeing your video. Coupon didn't come off for febreze and the $5 ebc didn't print. I was questioned whether or not I had been in the day before to do the deal, if someone else has had used my card and if I'm using multiple cards. After saying no to each question I was told it wasn't their fault the ebc didn't print. They fixed it eventually.

My 'app only' coupons say manufacturers coupon on them. Is that going to give me problems?
