What a fabulous prepper day at CVS! Couponing is a great way to build up your reserve emergency supplies for any SHTF situation. It will save you time and money once you learn few easy tips along the way 🙂

First learn one store really well. Read their coupon policy online and watch youtube videos specifically related to that store for a while. Get their store card like a CVS card for even better deals :0)

Today I went to CVS with my list of items to pick up from the weekly ad in the newspaper. I found many clearance items that are great for prepping items! Remember that you can use CVS redbox coupons and manufacturer coupons on clearance items as long as they do not exclude clearance items specifically.

Most of us get the in the Sunday newspapers – there are inserts in there ( little mini-magazines) full of coupons. Also you can get the from couponsdotcom, you can buy coupons on ebay or even full inserts, also tearpads in the store and also by email if you register with the companies you like, like Kellog's etc. Some folks ask others to save their inserts for them and some even go dumpster diving to get discarded inserts 🙂

TheAskMammaChannel says:

Where in the world do you get coupons? We don't have them here in Eastern Washington State.

HealthyPrepper says:

Yes, I tried one finally and it seemed to stay on through eating and working out – that was pretty good 🙂 They have a bit of a tacky feel but not bad overall 🙂

NEW LILLY says:

Those lipsticks do stay on a long time

Michelle says:

The ip for the listerine is for 1 liter or larger. But the one on sale is 500 ml wouldn't that not work. Did the coupon beep when you checked out?

Hey. You asked about length of storage & cooking length for dry beans. I did some research. Optimum is vacuum packed is 7-11. Length of cooking time starts to increase & nutrition starts decrease. Problem is we don't know how long they were stored before bagged. I have come across one bag in years that just wouldn't cook up. I buy my beans in bulk & vacuum pack. I use within 7 yrs. For health reasons I'm vegetarian. I do eat beans daily.i have never had problems w grains.
