We are having dinner at Outback Steakhouse. We haven’t been here for a while, but we always order a Bloomin’ Onion, salads, and a steak. I used to order the Boomerang Shrimp until they stopped selling it.
What We Ate:
* A complimentary loaf of Honey Wheat Bread is served with butter on the side when you have been seated.
* Bloomin’ Onion: “A true Outback original. Our special onion is hand-carved by a dedicated bloomologist, cooked until golden and ready to dip into our spicy signature bloom sauce.” $7.99
* House Salad: Chopped Romaine & Iceburg Lettuce, Fresh Grated Colby Jack Cheese, Chopped Cucumber, Thinly Sliced Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Outback Garlic Croutons and your choice of dressing (I chose Thousand Island and Kevin chose Honey Mustard.) *Salads are included in the price of each meal.
* Kevin ordered the 10 ounce Ribeye & baked potato: “The steak lover’s steak is well-marbled, juicy and savory.” $18.99
* Tami ordered the 6 ounce Outback Sirloin & Aussie Fries: “Each steak is then expertly seasoned and seared to order over a red-hot grill.” $11.99
* Kevin ordered 1 soft drink and it was $2.79. Tami drank water and it was free 😉
Our total was $44.27 (before tip)

10 oz steak looks fucking small, i can eat it in one bite.

D Wetick says:

Outback (among others) has replaced their pointy steak knives with dull blunt ones so you can't stab your dinner partner or wife to death.

Basil Fox says:

I'm not going to address how un-Australian the dishes were … I'm reeling over the price. Like … $44 for the whole meal? What?! That's actually amazing! I had a kangaoo steak with salad and chips (fries) at an Australian steak house and it was $35 xD Some places it costs about $40 for a good steak. Ugh!

Rafael Fogaça says:

Ohh my Gosh, I've already worked in Outback Steakhouse in Brazil, and that was really chip!!! In my country is much more expensive, over here only the Blooming Onion cost 40 bucks!!!

Red Chevy says:

Outhouse is pretty good.

Jimmy Mack says:

I'm craving a great big prime rib. 😊

Adrian Sepowski says:

I used to work there, they cross contaminate food all the time. Ive seen them put salmon on top of the lettuce. They put new labels on products that are about to expire to save money on ordering new product. They suck and have evil practices.

Rodrigo Colin says:

un lugar donde predomina la hijiene comida muy sabrosa.y donde pase los mejores momentos en el tiempo que estuve en estados unidos

Freddie Slaughter says:

This is a good steak house, but you need to try Logan's, their steaks are so much better.

mikemoair says:

blooming onions are great but = blooming heartburn for me. I always got the next bigger size steak she ate. outback is GREAT for staying under budget. if  stayed away from bread & fries and ate veggies, I would lose weight

Tim Daugherty says:

I agree! The salads are not good there anymore. They changed them all in 2009

Sith says:

Wow, Outback is such a HUGE success here in Brazil… I wondered if it was as popular in America…

MSE. Dzirasa says:

The ribeye is the best; it never disappoints. I always order it with a baked potato. I've never had a bad salad at any Maryland Outback Steakhouse…Its always fresh with crunchy croutons…You should have sent it back to the kitchen with a firm complaint, for a replacement on the house…TFS. 🙂

Miss that resteraunt a lot , bad that it's not in Ireland , when I'm back in Florida that will be the first place to go😂😂😂😂probaly one of the best food I've eaten especially that bread and that peanut butter milkshake was very good

Melissa B says:

If you guys have a Longhorn steakhouse you should definitely check it out…it's a thousand times better than outback!..;). .I cleaned my plate and that is rare for me lol

Katie Baunack says:

the restaurant is only good as the employee's

Andrés Meier says:

Perfect explanation…

Tasha v says:

You ordered a sirloin, which is the cheapest most terrible steak and it looked mw to w done. That was your problem! Plus you ordered the smallest and it was 12 bucks with 2 sides… I'm glad my outback doesn't offer that crappy tiny steak.

ashebeanie says:

Next time it's just the two of you and you want to do a blooming onion – there's a bloom petals option under sips and snacks that's only 4 dollars and its about 1/3-1/2 of the whole onion.

(I'm a server at outback and a lot of my tables don't realize that this is a new option)

Rembrandt says:

Outback Steakhouse….. Honestly….I found it depends of the location. The salads…. Yes, they changed and not for the better. They used to have the Campari tomatoes cut in half, with big rings of sliced red onions. They also were more generous with the lettuce (not as if it costs them that much). If the croutons are not crispy, they are not fresh. I get mine with Thousand Island, love it, but yeah, sadly, the salad quality went down a bit…even the plates changed. (you can tell I used to go there a lot, especially when I lived in New York for 4 years during studies there)

As to the steak, sorry you had dry ones. I always order it medium rare, and get the Lady Victoria. It should be seared nicely on the outside, and fully juicy on the inside. The one next to my home made some amazing Lady Victoria steak, but a few years ago, quality plummeted to the floor. Luckily I found a different Outback location with amazing management and great chefs who get the steak right. 8/10   I would suggest you guys look for a different location if on repeated visits they keep drying out the steak, but with respect, you may want to order your steak medium rare and just close your eyes when you eat it…. lol 😀

Dylan Poe says:

Looks good! What level of doneness do you guys like your steak to be cooked at?

TheSassylady3 says:
