I work at Office Depot distribution in Buford ga. They don’t give a rats ass about their employees. We were understaffed and they brought temps in making $7 more then us. Also they get paid weekly and we get paid bi weekly. They say we get paid less because we have benefits, but the benefits suck you have to pay a deductible every time you go, and pay for your medicine. We don’t get bonuses and we work every weekend and they want us to work 12 hours plus ever when your schedule says 8 hours. I’m quitting today! Management is trash!

The Office Depot I worked at was not immune to these problems. We were constantly running out of supplies to sanitize our workstations and bathrooms. Customers weren’t “allowed” to enter our store without masks, but us associates weren’t able to deny service over it, let alone confront the person in question.
What kept me in that store for over a year now were my fellow associates. They were just as friendly as they were dedicated.
But they’re all gone now. Our best gm’s were relocated to different (worse) establishments, leaving the rest of us understaffed and headless. The situation only got worse when some of our other associates straight up jumped the ship early and looked for better job opportunities (they were the lucky ones to be honest).
At times we were so understaffed that even if just one associate needed to take a meal break, our performance as a team would drop substantially.
Literally the only reason I'm still here is because all of my outgoing applications haven't been so much as reviewed yet.

Omg I recently got hired there as a tech specialist. I'm 2 weeks in, it seems like I'm doing every other job as well. I'm answering calls, stocking, copy n print, pulling online orders, helping customers. And I'm constantly being called to come help someone over the ear piece. I dont mind working, but man they pulling me left and right in that place. Only thing that's cool, is I stay 3 mins away and the pay is decent, which is cool. But i dont think I'm be there long, i feel like they using me.
This why you need a union!
I wanted to watch the video, but I'm not going to endure near 20 minutes of whining. Next time, get to the point in 2 minutes or less when whining, otherwise people won't want to watch.
I remember when I found Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Knuckles for the PC at Office Depot, as a kid in like 1999/2000… Never complained there XD

Bad things are good.
At this time last year,if the place of employment didn't provide for sanitation supplies and masks,gloves etc…. Employees couldn't even bring their own because there was none to be found in stores. If employees are essential they should be treated as such

Whenever employees in the non unionized fields are approached to join very good unions, their response is the 'right to work.'
