Yeah, I had pretty much a situation like yours today,, it was horrible I don't think I even want to deal with Dollar General trying to coupon anymore.😕😕
Maybe you should printout their coupon policy and take it with you

Hi there. Just came across your video and wanted to help out a bit. The order of coupons for Dollar General has changed for certain coupons. No fault of ours. Its dg system and sometimes the barcodes from the manufacture are at fault. For the Gain items you purchased, the new order is scan the product then scan the coupon. The math does have to be altered for the ending total to equal $15 buy adding more products. The freebie for the gain sheets was not working nationwide. That was a dg issue. After that process the $3/$15 can be scanned. I added products to my bds that had high value coupons to further bring the total down ie the crest. Not sure if I clairfied things but hope that I have helped somewhat. Have a blessed day hun.

I just ran into this same problem last night. The Gain coupons wouldn't scan and they would not key them in. The little supervisor made a smart comment that piss me off. I will be emailing corporate on that one. She even verified that the items were correct. I end of leaving everything. Your not going to tell me how to spend my money.

I had a similar situation with my dollar general. I was there yesterday trying to use all digital coupons. There was a 5 off 30 gain product n other gain coupons. Whalen the cashier first ring me up my total went down to $13 something then she said she pressed enter n it took my total to $29 something so I ended up voiding the transaction 🙄🙄

My DG would not take the Gain coupons. So i am calling corporate office. I had the $2 off the 40 oz gain.
How did you get to use the $3 off of $15?
I was told that the final amount after coupons had to equal $15 in order to get the $3 off. Can you please help me?

I work for dollar general and sometimes our register will say can't match coupon to item. But we have the digital manufacturers coupons on our mobile app for gain and we have a couponer that's comes in our store every other day and she does the gain deal and you can accept however many gain coupons your register will allow its up to the store manager if they want to manually make the register take the coupon. If you were at our store honestly you wouldn't have had any problems doing the deal here we strive for high satisfaction and I personally will share my digital coupons for valued customers saving them 15-20$. You can ask the store manager for the contact information to the district manager or even the regional director to get the problem solved
They will soon be a new manager or a going out of business sign!!

I bought bought 2 detergents 2 fabric softner, 2 60 ct dryer sheets, and 2 34 ct dryer sheets, total before coupons was 26 dollars I used the 3 off 15 and 2 5 off 3 gain coupons, that brought my total down to 13.00 then minus 4 dollars for the 2 free 34 ct brought total to 9 dollars I pd 7.75 with PayPal and 1.25 oop for everything🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
