the ice cream deal sounds good if you are planning a party or you can stock up for a rainy day.
I went to a bunch today to try it and nothing was working. And anything no in the picture, they weren't honoring. I finally got so annoyed I exploded on a manager and told him to shut up because he kept interrupting me. This is why after the Dollar General P&G deal, I took such a long break. I felt homicidal all that week.
WOW. That is crazy. You know I think maybe if I had them ring the caprisun for example then gave them that coupon, then ring the velveeta and coupon, then jello and coupon it might not work out so bad.
I think so and to top it off I tried using my $5 family buck from the General Mills deal a few weeks back and it won't work and the woman wouldn't take it so I said give me a number to complain and left. I haven't felt like fighting a battle on the phone yet over that but I am going to.
I didn't see the Edy's deal…not something I buy. But that seems like a good deal if it is products you use/need. Thanks for watching.

me too Michelle! I had to actually lookup on line where to get the velvetta toppers. Like u said I finally found them and they were buried in the 1.00 rack. It was a hassle at the register too. the clerks seem to be super nice at these stores. I'll have to keep my transactions way low cuz it seems I got overcharged but cant figure it out. What do u think of their buy 2 Edy's ice cream for 6.00 and get 2 -2 liters of pop free?

Yes you got it right in that we expect to pay nothing. I could have gotten most of those items for nothing at RA if paying with UP rewards. LOL But I wanted to try out the deal at DG to share it with everybody. thanks for commenting.
I had the same prob when I went. I got 21 items and it only took off $7. I ended over paying ( 9.90 ) also got two pks of $1 spoons and 7 splenda. Went back after work and got back 8.My coupons attached to the wrong items.
The receipts are always so confusing! Going to try again tomorrow

Thank you for explaining in detail! I didn't know you can mix n match the items, makes for better deals! Yay I'ma hit up DG. At times we get greedy cause were so used to paying close to nothing. Yesterday I spend 30 at wags for $130 in product and I was upset cause I paid too much. Then I remembered before using coupons I would have paid $130 so I saved $100. So I'm content with my saving. I think when they manually put in a coupon they have to find a specific item to attach the coupon to. It is a complicated system. lol
I think they divide it up that way so if you want to return something they would know that you got that much off of an item and not give you the full price back. Just a thought. It probably would have worked better if I knew wha order to give the coupons.
