Ok sis! Im trying to get into this couponing game. Please help a sista out: at DG do I put my phone number in the system first or do i have the cashier scan my items first. I will be going Saturday and this will be my very first DG experience.

I tried it and I messed up somewhere and ended up paying 23.30 before tax. I’m so confused lol
well you got me going on the cvs deals…. never spent a lot of time trying to figure it out, and my late husband would always say cvs costs more BUT i tried this today… getting the buy 1 get 1 half off deals on shampoos and toothpase and what a savings. Lots of extra bucks plus i had a $5 coupon. so now i will stock up on this stuff and my adult boys can come shop here when they need something! Thank you, i would not have figured it out myself. Sadly our cvs doesn't have one of those boxes.
What if you use a paper coupon for the flings? Do we have to scan the paper coupon before?

I tried using a 5 off of 30 and a 5 off of 25 previously in my store and was told that I was not able to use both DG coupons together. Have you ever had this problem in the past?

I don’t coupon at Dollar General. I had one of the managers tell me I could not use the coupons to get my total below $20.00. Say with my coupons totaled less than $20.00. He said the exact opposite . He said I needed to buy more.
I don’t know how to get the $3 off $15. It’s never in my digital coupons.
