Aliff Suhaimi says:

I am one of the long-time followers of your channel. I started taking interests in PC building when the GTX 10 series were launched, and you are one of the best techs Youtuber that offered a detailed review of the cards from the perspective of the user. Channels like Gamer Nexus is good too, but their perspective is more towards scientific, charts, and numbers.

Not a lot of people followed your advice because of your conservative takes, particularly when it comes to spending more to get more. I was one of them. It is like a learning curve, you disagree with his advice, build your own PC, live with it for years, only to find out that Tech Deals have a valid point.

Now, I am paying more attention to your advice, and I look forward for more build series from you. Cheers!

Can you help me to choose between rtx 3080 or rx6800xt or rx 6900 xt
My cpu is i9 9900k
32 GB RAM
750 W CORSAIR GOLD

Zaks Turf says:

I'm watching your channel, as my 8th generation motherboard is on its way out. My previous build was based on watching your videos about 5 years ago. Your videos are very insightful, thank you for your reviews and exceptional knowledge.
I was thinking about buying an 8th generation gigabyte master. Then upgraded the DDR4 up to 64Gb. I do not play games and colour correct and edit on davinci resolve.
Can you make a video about videos for editors that shoot 4k , clog or slog please.

Facts&fun says:

if you a building a new system today it s pointless to go DDR4 IMO. future proof it and go DDR5. ram has generally become stupid cheap

Is the i7 13700k worth the upgrade from a i5 13600k with a RTX 4080

Eric Simon says:

Im currently running a 10900k z490 3090 with 32 gigs of 4000Mhz ram 1000w psu. Im wanting to upgrade my CPU & MoBo & stay on DDR4 what would you recommend for a CPU/MoBo combo? PS love the content, keep up the good work.

Rishi Kumar says:

I will pair it up with rx 6750xt. Which motherboard is best for this.
Need future proof with wifi.

John Hayward says:

Thank you ever so much for this guide. I viewed it in reverse — that is to say I placed my orders over the weekend and came upon your video only today, Monday. I am renewing a 2019 build — new CPU, RAM, and flushing out my HDDs for SSDs. I do not play games, but for a round of chess or solitaire on my iPad from time to time, and I am ever so conscious of heat in my PC cubby. I primarily use my PC for Photoshop/Lightroom and some humongous Excel spreadsheets. Consequently, I am porting over a GTX1660 to the new build. Photoshop, I recently read benefits more from processor channels and speed vs. the parallel power of a modern GPU. CORRECT me if I’m wrong! I’m using the i5 13600K, the Samsung 2TB M.2 (and using 2 old Samsung M.2 in secondary roles), and new Samsung 8TB SATA drives-will replace spinning storage. I’m using 2 sticks of 32 GB DDR5 ram. Seems like our minds were in sync. Thank you for giving me confirmation. Cheers

Good news! 14th Gen will be LGA 1700!! Will be able to support Z690 boards with a BIOS update.

Dan W. says:

Your computer knowledge is incredible. You have a good vision for the future when you build a computer. And this is said by someone who is no stranger to computers. Congratulations

What do you guys think?

Patrick Jack says:

You are a wealth of knowledge, 30 years of focus shines through strongly. Listening at 1.25 speed, even though you speak quickly is comfortable as your pronunciation is extremely good, thanks for this work.

Georgealex19 says:

I actually have a friend who’s made me return the i7-12700kf and get a i5-13600kf instead 🤷‍♂️ I’d still go with the i7, especially since there’s such a thing as the i9, but I just don’t wanna overspend on my casual pc

Nivea87 says:

Insu Maniac says:

I'm a noob in PC building but I believe 2TB M2 boot, 64 GB RAM, 1000W is too much, as a second data part I'd choose a hard drive. DDR5 might be not worth it right now but who knows, maybe this will have a huge positive impact in future when the gap between DDR4 gets distinct. And speaking of GPU, 4070ti is enough for the PC to last for a decade imo

JasonXBeats says:

What if I wanna game in 4K? Should I go with the 4080
