Diverting revenue is outright theft, especially the last one. The affected youtubers and influencers should start a class action lawsuit against paypall, this is nuts!

The craziest thing about my experience watching the Honey ads is that I somehow ignored the fact that it was free. I lived my entire YouTube experience thinking it was a subscription just because of what it was doing. Honestly, Iโd probably have more faith in it if it were a subscription, because thatโs just how businesses work. Of course, that was also one of the biggest reasons I had no intention of even watching their ads all the way through like I did for others. The fact that it was free wouldโve definitely made me look into its inner workings – although it seems like there was literally no evidence. Until now.

I would say I'm shocked and I sort of am about the whole influncer side of things. But I never installed it because I figured they were almost certainly selling users info and that was not something I wanted to participate in, glad I did. Turns out if something sounds too good to be true, it is.
