Some of these comments are truly hysterical. Most of these people don't keep all this stuff for themselves. They donate to the troops, they donate to food banks, they help out their neighbors. Stop being so negative and see all the good these people do.

First, the "expiration" date, is the sell by date. Canned and bottled foods last way past their exp date.

In a time when jobs are scarce, it's not a bad idea. They said it was a family of 6. How much would it cost for child care/after school care so she could work? Her entire paycheck most likely. With this she could have her own booth in a flea market on weekends.
