We have 3 extreme couponers that come to my store but they don’t buy a whole bunch of shit they get maybe 100-200 some times 40$ but end up paying WAY less then what they bought
Yep even from the very first episode! The woman who dresses up to go shopping 😒🙄 used fraudulent coupons! Essentially the coupon says “French’s Mustard 16oz or larger” but she would buy 8oz, which is half the price, and she would get it free. Safeway the store that she went to made huge changes to their computers after her shenanigans! Pretty sure she was also investigated for criminal fraud!
One of the owners of a small store, was told they would be compensated for being on the show, he was asked to price match which the store doesn’t do, and except coupons that were obviously fraudulent, and and double coupons, something else they don’t do. In the end, his “compensation” didn’t equal out what money he was out, and he posted on line talking about if he ever sees the producer again he’ll beat him up! Lots of expletives in that comment!
I couponed religiously for a year, and saved about $500. But the side you don’t see is I bought 20 boxes of cereal and 10 went stale before I even opened it. 4 years later I still have unopened mustard. And at the end of the day I still save more going to the discount grocery store like Aldi!

I figured it was fake because my family coupons and our stores have limits as to what coupons they will take (won't take some from different stores or take manufacturer coupons at all) as well as a limit for how many coupons you can use per person per transaction.
