luke ginder says:

So he was trialed and headed. That sounds odd of an all powerful demon god.

Screw The Net says:

PLus I dont recall Morgoth/melkor being beheaded, but his hands and feet were cut off and he was cast into the darkness. I Dont think he was beheaded.

King Jon I of the Houses Stark and Targaryen says:

Morgoth sure enjoyed fucking those Elves up for two Ages.

Aidan Hsia says:

What age was this?

jakesully says:

I don't understand the power of the elves. How can an elf slay a balrog? The strength of different characters in the silmarillion.

Kekero says:

I wonder what gorgoths power level would be if he had gotten the ring?

NEOS GUNDAM says:

What are the names of those winged dragons the last attack Morgoth used against the valar

Daniel Plain says:

They should make a movie about this stuff ppl would love it

Honako Green says:

Kinda funny. Sauron the main bad guy of the Lord of the Rings books, isn't that big of a deal when you look at the bigger picture.

Rogue Ascendant says:

Melkor would return and Dagor Dagorath would commenced when modern Men is at the tipping point of a global war. When the global war happen it give the perfect time for Melkor return unknown and by then too late as many Men corrupted and sided with him. With this disastrous event, the prophecy known by the Valars has finally happen. With Arda/Earth becoming a battlefield unforeseen since the wars in the First Age, the world would be so badly damaged from the continents, oceans and atmosphere. And upon that Eru Illuvatar would once again make a the Second Music along with the other race to create and anew world with much fairness and better from the Old One. A world unknown by him and by the fate but also it will be much more glorious than the former world.

MrDodo says:

After Dagor Dagorath is Melkor permanently dead? is his spirt Destroyed?

Stratus Strong says:

I'm going to be doing a Melkor cosplay, with removable Iron Crown with glowing Silmaril, with the Hammer of the Underworld Grond.

Mr. Leon says:

The War of Wrath would be a kick ass movie.

Alex Mudge says:

Or so the prophasy says…..(he forgot to mention that the prophecy has as a 50/50 chance of happening)

matthew mann says:

To see what would happen had Morgoth fully succeeded with his manipulations, schemings, plannings, calculations, strategies, tactics, and other aspects of matters

Eli Smirnov says:

Morgoth is an idiot. he was able to call 4 Big Bad Bros and they would kill, corrupt, cheat, rape and destroy anything that opposes CHAOS. and their champions, mmmmm, valar are so screwed.

Void man says:

So Feänor is an god? He killed multiple balrogs and they are maiar ainur

DainII says:

Wait. Morgoth is beheaded and his crown used as a collar ?
The benevolent Valar must have been realy pissed.

Joetuss says:

It must suck being that guard posted at the door of night knowing you'll ultimately fail at your one and only job

1misanthropist says:

Thanks for the illustration, enjoyed the video. Eru, like all Gods, sounds incompetent as hell to create such flawed beings and allow such chaos. I don't blamed the created for what the creator made them to be. Btw, would love to see a couple of movie trilogies starting from the creation of Arda to the fall of Sauron at Dagorlad. Don't think it'll ever happen though.

nico olsen says:

This needs be a movie 🙂

Llama Lover122 says:

Maybe fell beasts are corrupted Eagles (the large, intelligent ones in this universe) like how orcs are corrupted elves

celtspride34 says:

Could Melkor return, or is he permanently locked away in that metaphysical void?

Dominick Villegas says:

Thank you for your videos. I was having trouble imagining the geographic movements of characters and groups. Watching these videos has given me enough of a grip to imagine it on my own.

g r says:

Loki. Ragnarok.

Grant Wilson says:

I never realized that it was possible for LOTR to get even more confusing. However, its very interesting. So when Melkor returns and dies, the world will start over? I bet everyone was glad to know that all the fighting was for nothing.

E J says:

How can Feanor, an elf defeat so many Balrogs which are maia? The way the Balrog is portrayed in the movie it looks like a huge monstrous creature which would make easy work of an elf? Anyone explain this a bit more to me?

Larry Larsen says:

Thank you so much!
For many years I have tried to make some sense of the Silmarillion, buying my first: The First addition in 1979. I made the worst choice of trying to read it as a book. Now with your help makes it less unclear, not so murky as a bog and more like a stagnant pond.
On the third of May, 2016 I will contribute what I can to your great works.
Again Thank You
