You have inspired me to dive as well… I can not even believe all the things I have food. Pet food to donate, Toys, Books, Housewares, food, the list goes on and on and it;s always an exciting time. I am very concerned about coming across critters… mainly rats or mice. Have you had these types of issues? I am so scared as we start to get cooler temps. I dive at night after store closes. What do you do to avoid critters?

And here I am unable to buy strawberries, green apples and even bell peppers where I am because they are so costly over here!!!! I can only wish of buying them where there it is thrown away
Maybe this is a stupid question, but wouldn't produce that touched the bin be contaminated since dumpsters are usually breeding ground for bacteria. How would one get that off of fresh produce/out of the inside if there are micro tears and such. Maybe I'm just uniformed.
