Wow! In California they take our recycling ♻️ the same day as the trash 🗑 pick up.

Lisa Chatham says:

Where we live in Colorado they don't have the bottle redemption, when I lived in New York I would take in my bottles and cans and get 5 cents per can/bottle. I saved up enough one year to buy Christmas dinners and gifts for 3 entire families plus my own. If I had your family I probably wouldn't have been able to do the 3 families extra but I have always done my best every year to bless at least one family with dinner and gifts. It just feels good.

Getting 10c per can really helps every Fortnight when I am low on things. It's great

Claire Woerner says:

I will say American coupons are pretty fun. These days, you can use digital coupons and get some good deals. I put in a grocery pickup order at Kroger (a common US supermarket), used digital coupons, and ended up saving $13.75 making my whole shop less than $50 and I had a coupon that gave me 10x gas points so I got 60¢ off per gallon at the store’s gas pumps!

Emila Smith says:

Well done!! ❤❤

Suzanne OShannessy says:

When you go to a cycling place you get money back 10cent bottles I don't understand why take this to the supermarket

Rhonda Winkler says:

This is a great idea. I do this and also use my Woolworths “dollars” as well. I have found it really helps with the Christmas budget.
I have also used these same ideas when we go on holiday. Having 5 children we make most of our meals while on holiday and have a couple of planned meals out.

Outback says:

All that packaging on the noodle cups :/

Sarah Elizabeth says:

I get so many good ideas from your channel! Thank you.

Susan Williams says:

Awesome shop today

AngryPixi says:

fantastic effort! we do the same, plus save up our flybuys and woolies rewards points for Christmas. I saved enough this year to pay for all our Christmas food and drink, plus restock my pantry!

Mary Ross says:

That was super. Here in South Africa we also don't have coupons. That was a great save

Linda Smith says:

13:23 I love watching your videos and your adorable family your an awesome woman and wife and most importantly mum merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family from the United States

khloi k says:

I thought you would have redeemed your Woolies points but instead you claimed back the $0.10 you paid on each bottle initially. That doesn’t make your groceries free, you paid for the bottles/cans as well as petrol to the return and earn just to get your own money back.

Nicole Coburn says:

Fantastic effort you got so much value for your money as well . Thanks for another great video have loved following your channel for the last few years . Blessings to your family this Christmas

Steph Noble says:

I agree be so cool if we had coupons here in Australia. Great grocery haul

Tita Linda says:

Your daughter is gorgeous, actually the whole family is gorgeous 😊😊😊

Kylie Porter says:

I wouldn't call it free as you had to drink or whatever to get 10c per bottle and why didn't the recycle give you cash

DollyJohanne says:

We nede to pay “a rent” for our bottles. Like for soda/pop/beer, not the chili sauce. For half a liter it’s 2kr, and 3kr for the 1,5 liters. Some have other volumes too, but that is the two different once. One US dollar is about 10kr, and Australian one is 6,65kr right now. We do not get anything for our cans of tins like corn or pineapple in a tin/can. There is a lot of different nationalities here in the viewers so I try to add on different words people use 😂 I hope people can understand.

We do have some coupons, but it more like one store give me one, and two different others gives me about 6 each for a week or two, then new for those two stores, and not always the first store have.
I do get store credit though, so I thought here that was the case before the end of the video. We have a coop with different stores under it that have it and another large company with different stores under it that both have store credit for all the stores in the same group, so that is pretty great.

You need to take advantage of whatever you can get of. Great work here, and thank you for sharing 😊

Love and blessings from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
