I am from SC, And a new follower. I am on a mission to raise money for my best friend, of 26 years. Along this journey, she deals with her uncontrollable bowel, resulting from surgery. Along with pain, and thinking of what lies ahead, she remained dedicated to her job. However, she was put on medical leave due to severe blisters that covered her feet. She pushed herself to stay active in doing her job, even wore soft bedroom shoes to work.She has stage 4 colorectal cancer that has spread to her lungs. She was released medical to go back to work, unfortunately due to the sheriff, assuring her her job would be there, and they had taken care of the pressure from her boss, whom caused dramatic stress, had been taken care of. Needless to say, her job had been taken, and the stress was worse. Making it a week, she mentally could not take the verbal abuse, which lead her to the sheriff. As she entered his office, along followed her boss, chewing her out, sheriff said nothing. She told him she was sorry but she could not take her abuse no more. She left to get her things, and on on the way out, the sheriff made a comment, he would send a deputy to pick up her uniforms. Now, unemployed with no insurance, due to her boss canceling that following day, and no income. She has lost her mobile home, and now lives with her elderly father, which is in poor health.

Sorry I got carried away with details. Now back to my mission, I’ve gone to Dollar General, and they were awesome. I shopped for 6 hours, and 5 buggies later, my bill was originally $680 subtract discounts and no coupons, my final bill was $64. I am doing gift bags to give to people that make a donations, and bags with name brand stuff to sell. All proceeds will go to my friend. My dollar general in San Antonio is absolutely ridiculous. They are not coupon savvy and as a beginner it’s difficult to explain it to them. They told me to take it up with corporate. So I did and the district manager called me later that day. I had to leave most of my items behind. It’s so frustrating as a beginner and I was so embarrassed. The district manager told me I have to come in a later date even though coupons may be expired they would honor them. It’s uncomfortable now and I’ve been sick so I haven’t been able to go back in 😞. Wish they were more coupon savvy in order to assist the customer better.

Ok gguurrll I'm super new but I've been living off some of these videos!!!! Kinda stupid question…..I got my Sunday paper and the coupons were trash even went back to the store to see if maybe someone took some inserts…..is the first Sunday of the month when you get the BIG coupon inserts?
