I am in the process of building my preps with the assistance of coupons! See how I was able to get some free items and how you can too! I am no means a professional at this but there are some good deals to be had out there if you are also working on building your own prepping supplies for what ever apocalyptic pinch might come along 🙂 Also they make great holiday gifts and stocking stuffers too! You can also donate items to anyone you choose 🙂 Happy and healthy gathering everyone 🙂

PS: No need to feel weird about getting things for free, the store gets reimbursed from the manufacturer of these items plus they get an additional 8 cents handling fee from the manufacturers for each coupon and the manufacturers put out these coupons because they want you to try their products! Everybody wins 🙂 So go forth feeling confident and coupon your heart out 🙂

Happy to assist 🙂 I have to admit I was pretty excited when I found out the Dollar Tree took coupons too 🙂

My Family dollar is a little overwhelmed when it comes to couponing too. I had the mgr at check out once and she told me to come int he morning when she is there bc she understand s coupons bets and can help me the most. She also said she wants to learn how to coupon and get on the bandwagon with the rest of us too 🙂

Speaking of Wallymart I just picked up Waggin Train chicken strips for dogs for 27 cents with the $2 off coupon! 3.5 oz My pooches are tickled pork belly pink 🙂

HealthyPrepper says:

Thanks! I have a ton of those! And haven't seen them sold anywhere yet. And I love to use my slow cooker 🙂 Much appreciated twobigdogsgirl!! 🙂

HealthyPrepper says:

Its relatively new 🙂 I think they started this past summer 🙂 I was shocked too!

HealthyPrepper says:

Yes, my Dollar trees only allow one or 2 coupons per transaction – it is a bit cumbersome at checkout but worth the extra effort I think 🙂 If the line gets long I go to the end again.

vapingrealtor says:

Question, is there a reason you had to do so many separate transactions?

vapingrealtor says:

I did not know the Dollar Tree took coupons!

Michelle's Crafts & More says:

Oh, if you have those $1 off 1 Reynolds slow cooker liners, you can get those for about .96 at Walmart. (At least at my store anyways.) 🙂

Brooklyngirl In The Caribbean says:

As an avid dog lover I loooove to see a happy pooch! And that is one happy pooch! lol Soooo cute!!! 🙂

Michelle's Crafts & More says:

I wish my Dollar Tree was bigger. They carry a lot of off brands rather than national brands. My Dollar General sucks when it comes to couponing. They always hassle me to the point that I don't bother shopping there. I do shop Family Dollar occasionally. I get a lot of my dog treats free there as well as the Cover Girl Queen beauty tools for free.
