This is such a good hack! Thank you. I was curious it is it an additional 20% on sale fabric or does it to have Full price? What barcode reader do you use

Hi Delilah! Congratulations on the growth of your channel! Your daughter's makes are so cute! I've done the Joan's hack before by shopping online just to use the extra coupon but I didn't realize you could actually scan in the store! That's even better! That way you know exactly what's there vs just shopping online! Awesome tip! Thank you for sharing! No guilt! If it's available then it's for the customer 😃.

Elle Zee says:

That's an amazing tip! Never would have thought of that one!! Thnx!

Pat Mac says:

Thanks for the Joann tips. I've been stacking the sales with the pick up in store coupons for a while and have wondered how they can be making any money on some of my purchases. I didn't know about the bar code scan capabilities in the app and it never occurred to me to order things while I'm in the store and come back for them later.

Amie Rikke says:

Oh my goodness. Thank you for sharing this! One of the things I dislike about Joann’s is waiting to get my fabric cut. I’m going to try this. And, right next to my local Joann’s they are building an Aldi! My favorite grocery store. So I can shop at Joann’s, use the feature you just outlined, go right next store to Aldi’s and maybe another store, then get my fabric! Lol. I love it.
I don’t think it’s a loophole, I think this is exactly what Joann’s wants. I think they want to bring us into their store so we will buy more when we pick up our order, as opposed to just getting it delivered at home, they loose a contact point with a shopper, or an opportunity to sell us more items!
I’m excited about sewing for fall too and can’t wait to see what you’re planning. 🌻🍁😃

Jacqueline Davila-Alicea says:

I also do price match with the scanner. If I find something I like I activate scanners from different stores to compare prices.

Marcy Spandet says:

I do that all the time

Jan Franklin says:

Very smart hack, thanks for sharing
