This is the perfect storm for GPU prices to collapse (especially price per performance), increasing capacity for future chips which are looking more powerful than previous leaps, I bet demand drops off as stimulus ends, crypto likely to crash then => massive oversupply beyond all buyers, what you reckon? 🧐

I see 2 possible way cryptomining goes:
1.It end by drop of crypto value.
2.AMD and Nvidia go on selling even next gen to miners, Intel gpus become usefull for that, their planned supplementary feature cpu gpu shared utilization could bring more fun not only to gamers, then even spread this gold rush even to ssd drives?

4:30 ish From what I know TSMC has a large backlog of orders from AMD and every car manufacturer. Due to this TSMC has been unable to meet demand and has raised prices 20%. Samsung has met the same issue as TSMC with not enough ability to supply chips and raised prices 20%. The reason Nvidia went with Samsung is the reduced queue that they had to wait when compared to TSMC.

Of course there is no shortage. I've been so dismayed by all the YouTubers buying this "oh we have no choice but charge u more" narrative, even after numbers were released showing they sold more cards than ever before…. EVGA got me pissed off with their scam "Step Up Program"
If prices could drop. I'd aim for a 6800/XT. But, as it stands. A 6700 XT is about all I'm willing to buy.
