It’s really difficult in California to save money at the grocery store. The goal I set for myself as a couponer is always 50% off my total bill. My grocery budget is $120.00 for two weeks and my store of choice is Albertson’s. I try my best to combine sales with coupons to save the most money for my family while still trying to maintain healthier choices and eating habits. I rarely get fruits or veggies from the grocery store they just aren’t fresh and typically opt to go to the local farmers market for those items and they are all at a very reduced price and always fresh. I really need to start utilizing Jewel Food Store here. They are the affiliate to Albertsons and they're literally right down the street. Target is closer but you have to really pick and choose your deals with them. Sometimes using the sales in combo with the cartwheel AND coupons can be overwhelming 🙁

Don't you miss those days when most of the stores used to double coupons? I do miss it. I hardly ever shop at Vons. Their prices are insane! Recently they've sent me Just For U my account free items: such as Signature Select pizza and Lucerne creamer. That was the only way to get in the store. LOL! I buy a lot of items at 99 Cents, SuperTarget and Food 4 Less. Not sure if you know but Target has 18 ct. eggs on sale for 99 cents this week. So get your butt over there and get some. LOL!

you are great! my town where I live only has a Save-a-lot and a Dollar General and a Fred's and a Chappels so I'm not sure how I can save? also the nearest Walmart is like 20 minuts away. I'm really interested in couponing but I don't know how to get started. can you please help me? Question for u….. just wondering how u handle crts and coupons at cvs. Do u hand over any applicable crts/coupons after each product is scanned or do u hand them all at once at the end?
