Great while the freebies lasted!! I like most did take advantage of buying a .69 cent paint brush and getting an item for free! I was a big fan of the Black/Orange(now Red)Gloves & Batteries. I would not pay full price for those batteries as they were only good for yard sale items to prove that item worked! Still my favorite place to shop for those "weekend" type tools and items.

Dustin Pomeroy says:

It wouldn't surprise me if they went public soon

MrR518 says:

There is coupons for weekend of Oct 4 w 3 free items.

We need to get another New Start Up Company to give HF a good Run for there Business.. HF is turning into a BiG Company that's to important for us little people.. That's exactly why I am taking all my money to BIg Lots.. That's right, I purchasing all of Big Lots Tool's… I'm absolutely positive that, Big Lots will focus there sales over to the Tool Department and give HF a good Run for there customers Business like little me..

The new blue led c.o.b light is amazing. Glad that is the item till next year

larry borkstrom says:

The promo are ending they did that to get you in the store and now they are pushing the overpriced icon brand

Not Triggered says:

I have so many of the free lights I quit bothering to get them.

Justin Dow says:

New Sub here. Man how have I not seen your channel before? Thanks for sharing. Great topic & great information. Would like to see a follow up to this. 🍻👍

Patrick Baptist says:

In my area all you get is coupons for the free flashlight, I've got a few of em they are awesome for free and all…. I stop in to get one and buy something for a dollar or 3 every time I get a coupon for the free flashlight.

Xiomaro01 says:

So they're charging more and more and giving less and less. Makes sense

Michael says:

I did see a new tarp free coupon and used it, that is good until October. They certainly aren't putting out a lot of free items coupons though, so I think you may have a point. Although they do have a lot of nice items on the "dollar menu" – heat shrink tubing etc. They also recently did that free battery coupon weekend too….which suckered me in because I wanted some free batteries to put in my tool drawer at work.

Maybe the free coupons may have always been intended to get us used to socialism: Started out as the dream socialist utopia where tools were completely free with no purchase….then free with a purchase (or tax)….. then no longer free (and the taxes increase exponentially)!! The Illuminati is real!!

Paul Waldrop says:

I think you're right. My prized coupon is a 20% off coupon, good to December of next year, that can still be used to buy almost anything. It doesn't list Central Machinery as part of the things you can't buy, like the current ones do. Let me know if you want it for your site. I've used it alot, and it works fine.

randomsanwhich says:

I’m wondering and hoping with the massive re branding they are going to start releasing new free branded items.

rhelmjr says:

Well those blue lights are worthless POS. I don't even bother with those anymore.

Spectt says:

I'm "okay" with them getting rid of the FREE ITEM COUPONS. I wouldn't prefer it, but it's not a "deal breaker" for my harbor freight addiction. The benefits of new wave of "sub-$1" coupons is it allows you to purchase many of these "sub-$1" items all at once VS. only getting one free item each time you visit the store. It seems the list of these ultra cheap items is growing each week. And hopefully, because Harbor Freight is getting a small amount of money for each item they may be able to add better quality items to the list…

John Doe says:

Noooo not the coupons!!!!

Fred Carroll says:

HF seems to have upped their game as far as the value of incentives, their pricing and creating tiered pricing. My guess is that if they have a high percentage of customers in their free and paid membership plans, they’ve recorded a lot of data on buying habits which they are now analyzing and using.

Mark Keeler says:

I was in HF last weekend to pick up another Berger welding clamp after my trip to Menards and got the shorty LED light as a freebie. I couldn't read the expiration date and it wouldn't scan at all due to the coupon being so blurry. I really expected them to reject it but the cashier called the manager and he overrode the computer and accepted the coupon. I was surprised. Might have been due to my buying a $20 clamp but I don't know. He may have rejected it if there had been a crowd there but i was the only one around.

bird718 says:

since no harbor freight is near me, i don't care, i do vist em sometimes when i am in that part of the county next door.

Vince A says:

Look at the flyer for October, three free coupons only good for 2 days. Yes, I believe they will be doing all the free coupons they did in the past but they will only be good for 1 – 2 days

Edward Hall says:

I love that blue light. I get one every time I go in the store. I put one in every room in my house and 1 in all the cars, tool bags, camping gear. It's free and handy but not so useful that it is likely to grow legs and walk away and even if it does I won't be broken up about it

Jeff Parker says:

I believe you are correct. Hopefully they surprise us with cooler free items when they do offer them.
